I don't see how there is room for Holiday and Jeff Green. Note: they both use Marcus Smart's agent (Glushon Sports Management).
Let’s just hope he shows up healthy at mid-October, unlike the last former-Lakers player we signed.. Overall it’s a decent acquisition, an upgraded version of Aaron Holiday. Will probably share minutes in the backcourt together with either Fred or Reed. And the contract is not too expensive.
Maybe the opposite. DFS was a known shooter who couldnt shoot once he got here. Smart is a known brick layer who will shoot lights out here. Maybe? lol
I guess he is good if you already have a stacked team but the problem is we don't. He doesn't solve any of the central issues we've had last year besides maybe ball handling. And even that's not for sure because he is prone to TOs.
Too bad Reed had the worst playoff performance by a Rockets starting guard since Luther Head, or this might not happen. But, maybe it still happens even with Reed starting. At least we used the T-MLE on a legit playoff vet. It’s a better position to be in to already have someone locked up, then to package these proven playoff performers at the deadline than trying to use your T-MLE during the season.
Oh great, another AARP member!! ...... I'm so excited, Stone finally doing something. Very thankful to confirm he has a pulse. We gonna be a bunch of dogs! We are not going to be able to shoot, but who cares, anyone that comes to Houston always regresses.
