    Maybe we've seen the end of the FVV + Sheppard backcourt pairing. Putting Smart on the court with either of them at least gives you more of a fighting defensive chance.

    The Smart +Sheppard pairing also takes a lot off Reed's shoulders in terms of dribbling.

    At least he won't look like a deer in headlights running the pick and roll. Smart is someone you get at the tradeline or the day after you receive tragic news,before training camp, about your starting pg. He shouldn't be the main guy you center the offseason around.
