Who the hell do yall think is guarding good scorers.. Kevin Durant Jabari Smith Jr Alperen Sengun Steven Adams Reed Sheppard No knees Fred Van Vleet That’s already too many damn minutes allocated to bad point of attack defenders and slow af. OG, Bridges, Josh Hart Caruso, Dort, Wallace, Williams These other teams 3rd best POA defender on the court is better than any of them. We just proved Amen can’t be the only fast defender on the court. I get the frustration with the deep bench being Ime guy defenders that can’t score last season but our top guys can’t defend. We start 3 slow guys in KD, Jabari, and center. We’re getting Reed Sheppard minutes. This idea that we can mix in some Duncan Robinson on top is delusional.
A quick look at the list of FA's.... I would prefer in this order... 1. Dean Wade 2. Rui (probably too much) 3. Kennard 4. Simons ( would rate higher but he will want too much money) Smart is fine, and will be helpful but he would end up at 6th or 7th if I kept going on this type of list.
Detroit has interest in KD. They want to make a move badly. They also have interest in Tyler Herro. Rockets could probably get a decent return for KD if they want to move him - but they are listening to other teams and telling them no on KD.
Suns keep pushing to make the Rockets pick worse…. Who knows, hope for the best. If nothing else it will be nice to have a pick.
KD should tell the ownership, management and coach that I don’t want to stay in Houston like LBJ did with the Lakers.
The value of Suns draft pick next season is getting much lower after they acquiring Bridges and Kennard. Lol The Suns are becoming much better now.
Our rebuild ended with a 38 year old Dickerson as our franchise player...........that's just mediocre.
I just looked this up the other day. Has to be Duncan Robinson, Levert, Paul Reed and one of their $2 mil guys plus picks but it can be done.
Yeah if you look at it plainly - we had 4 picks in the top 4 of the draft and we ended up without a franchise player - so we had to trade for one, that cost us a #10 pick and is 38 years old. In just about no world is that considered okay…. To have that many high lottery picks and cap space and end up without a franchise player and at the apron because of a bunch of old players- half of which didn’t even play much anyway.
Most likely at this point - they should be competitive if they play hard, but they aren’t going to win 50 games.
I thought the Bridges deal made them worse. But they obviously came prepared and immediately replaced massive 3pa gap after losing Allen and O’Neal. It’s funny how they will never make their own pick but honestly their FO knows business.
If a broken Lakers could easily beat the Rockets, then I have no doubt that the Suns can beat us as well next season.
Our problem is offense not defense. We had a better defense than the Knicks last year. Five spots worse at offense. The Rockets not having a system makes defense harder.
