Marcus Smart is a good bench player - he can defend, plays smart and hard, can bring the ball up and play in key spots.

my concern is how that he impacts the minutes for Sheppard.

 

His D ranks with Trey and JEHj.

 

I’m sure he will be top 10 in the league in minutes played, just like KD.

 

His D was enough for beating Rockets in playoffs.

 

Ime has us obsessed with defense. They dont get that we are already one of the top teams in defense. It aint defense thats the issue. They need to fire Ime. His entire outlook on team building and offense is outdated.

 

If we sign Marcus Smart he will close every game lol

 

They honestly should just trade Reed since they are sticking with Ime. He'll never get playing time so get what you can for him and let him go be a star elsewhere so we can get more Marcus Smart minutes in Houston.

 

People thinking he will be some end of the bench guy is laughable.

 

if you’re adding Smart, he’s sharing some minutes at the 2 guard and as a small forward, spelling Amen. Maybe they can get Amen down to more reasonable minutes.
