    Stone had this team winning 50 games consistently after just 3 yrs of tank. Next year we have 2 lotto picks incoming and even more in 2029. Literally just traded for KD last offseason.

    Yeah he is just sitting on his hands lmao man just keep quiet.

    One thing to keep in mind: the Rockets can only sign Smart to a 2-year deal until they free up cap space. For example, trading DFS, then they can offer part of the exception and a 3rd year.

    Here is the real mystery with the Marcus Smart signing:

    He started 54 games last year for a 53 win home court advantage playoff team. He played 30 mpg. Then he started all 10 games in the playoffs, playing 35 mpg and beating the Rockets in the first round.

    And he’s coming to Houston to be the 9th man on a worse team and play half as many minutes at best? Behind the starters, Tari, Adams, and Reed (all of whom are high minute 6moy candidates)?

    Why would he do that? How does this make any sense?

    IMO, there are other transactions going on here. I could be wrong but this smells funny.
