Yeah he clearly lost some steam in that second inning then got exasperated as soon as he allowed a hit. His repertoire and physicality are way different but his potential and demaeanor really remind me of Abreu. Ullola and Santa both looked great in the small sample and I think there’s a pretty good shot both guys pitch in the big leagues for at least a few years and both have elite leverage RP potential. Add in Blubaugh and Teng who both looked like real high quality bulk relievers and you’re halfway to a really good bullpen over the next half decade.
Other than the dumpster fire at the beginning of the season when I thought we let the wrong coach M go, I'm not really super worried about our pitching other than top end talent. The pitching development in the org is as good as it gets. We obviously still need another Brown or two to keep keep things moving but I don't think we will ever run out of serviceable pitchers.
Remember when we had a stellar road trip last time and then went on a huge losing streak after going home......

Burrows absolutely needs to be the one sent to the minors when Javier returns. Let him figure his **** out there.
Hope that was for the game and not just for the first inning. I'm ready for burrows to get optioned. Hope he figured it out in the minors this season. If not there's always next season.
