I feel like we are set until the trade deadline. That's when teams under performing will look to get expirings and Fred will probably waive his no trade clause, because he's not happy with his role. DFS will be expiring too.
That's bad??? If we can get Dyson at a good price I'd be ecstatic. I know you're being facetious but Dyson has tremendous value around the league as one of its premier perimeter defenders (like Amen). He's probably worth multiple first round picks.
Sure, he's absolutely an Ime type player....amazing defender, but probably the only wing in the league that can make Amen Thompson look like Steph Curry. I say we go full Ime and try to create the worst shooting team in modern NBA history. We lose every game 74-43, but there's so much effort on defense!
He had an implied no trade last season because of the player option, the second he picked up that option, he lost the no trade.
FVV lost his NTC the moment he picked up his player option. But yes, it might be easier to make a deal at the deadline.
