Clippers Kawhi Leonard TRADED to Toronto Raptors FOR Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, 2 FRP, 2 SRP

Raptors are idiots, giving up picks for a guy who was only going to commit to you anyway?!

 

Yeah, it doesn't make sense lol. The Clippers did not want to extend him so they were going to have to trade him anyways or lose him for nothing. They instead got a great package.

 

Waaay too much for a guy that age, with that injury history, and with that attitude. Kudos to the Clippers digging themselves out of a hole.

It makes me think that KD has value. Not as much as Kawhi, but pretty good value.

So Toronto traded for last season's Kawhi not the dude who was dragging parts of himself across the court for the several seasons preceding.

This has to be one of the dumbest trades I've seen in a while.

I'm kind of pissed off because if the Clippers weren't shopping him I wonder what the Raptors would have paid for KD.

They are making this move as if they are a Kawhi away from competing. I don't understand it at all.

He does. But why would you trade a 2nd team all NBA who just put up 55/40/85 without a pg? Itd be dumb he is our closer and no 1 unless somebody else makes a leap. You can def argue at only 40M KD is the best non rookie star value contract in the league.

Plus what happens when that Aspiration thing goes off? Kawhis contract gets invalidated maybe he goes back to the Clips lol

 

I don't think the nba let's the clippers trade him if they play to punish him severely. More than likely fines are handed out to Balmer and his homeboy and a fine and 10 game suspension, which he was probably going to miss those games anyway. If he can stay healthy in the playoffs the raptors can makes some noise. I also like how the Clippers finally flushed the toilet on the Kawhi saga, that **** was sad, I hope he's past the injuries.
