Udoka is objectively potentially the most destructive coach in the league
You might have a better argument trying to show Stromile Swift as a superstar

He’s objectively NOT (potentially) the most destructive coach in the league.

Ime sucks, he has thrown away talent because it was headstrong, he has zero ability to coach a good offense, he can't handle star players who throw their teammates under the bus.

And he gets outcoached in almost every single game letting lessor talented teams win. He is the kind of coach that fool casual fans into thinking he is ok, when the truth is he will never win anything.

Do we judge coaches by regular season wins?

how many coaches in the league have lost every post season they were heavily favored to win?

how many coaches have trouble scoring 80 points against the HOF Kennard, Reeves and 40 y.o Lebron defense?

you guys are legitimately insane at this point. Repeatedly asking for evidence because you don’t like the blatant facts all around you is crazy.

    Udoka sucks. Get over it

I forgot. Udoka also holds the rare talent of not only improving his team by being fired for gross unprofessionalism, his team reaches the holy grail by his subtraction

not many people can say that

He's been pulling that same shtick for years now. This is really little more than a continuation of a tantrum that started nearly a decade ago now... actually, maybe over a decade, i don't remember.

Just checking to see if the Rockets have done anything

Watching as the NBA landscape is forming.
All the stars minus Giannis have been moved for Pennies on the dollar.

Portland got 4 PG before we even get 1 competent one.

The Org has made me dislike FVV because
they make it seem as if he is the end all be all.

They can't be waiting till free agency I'm sure we have no cap other than probably the mid level.

    Old as KD
Segun has already capped on the player he is
    Jabari is who he is.
    Reed is what he is.

I am not interested in watching or rooting for this same s*** show team with Marcus smart added to the list of non shooters.

His response was hilarious because it was just insults. Sure, if you want to call laughing at someone being a constant jerk an insult, fine. Pointing out that Bobby acts like a child isn’t an insult. It’s being an adult. Discipline your children or they’ll turn out like Bobby. Now that’s an insult. But I still didn’t have to use curse words and slurs to insult people on an internet board.

and yes, my “schtick” is pushing back on assholes on a supposed fan board. Grow up.

I have not once argued that Ime is a HOF coach. But to call him a bottom 5 coach is purely an emotional position that is not based in fact.

He's consistently had a winning record, which by definition, makes him an above average coach.

Yes. Winning % is an actual metric used to judge coaches. Sorry if that makes people uncomfortable. Every time I see a list a list of all-time great coaches, there are pretty much 3 metrics.
    1. Win %
    2. Total wins
    3. Playoff success

So yes, winning % is an extremely important metric to judge coaches. And yes, #3 is also important ...but also is the operative word.

That said, I'd be happy if they replace Ime but it needs to be an upgrade. You don't make changes just for giggles.

Also, maybe Ime grows as a coach this season? Ime is not a robot, despite how he behaves. Is there room for growth? Dunno. Since they obviously are keeping him, I hope so.

Says the guy that can't point to a single thing Ime does well as a coach.... it seems like you're the one with the emotional position here. You just feel he's doing a good job based on team record alone.

I think we're not going to make any other major moves besides resigning Tari Eason.
    Here's my take:
The Rockets are trying to replicate their roster from the 24-25 season...losing Dillon Brooks and FVV last year set us back so signing Marcus Smart is somewhat getting a "Dillon Brooks" type player Dat dog you need on your team.
Fred will be eased back into rotation, but I see them running a Smart/Amen backcourt which I think is terrible because both are not true point guards.
Again, Stone sucks as being a GM and has no balls to tell Udoka the direction the team needs to go

Henderson is not a star, he still guided the Blazers to a win in the playoffs vs the Spurs. Reed isn’t at that level and FVV has an injured knee. Smart and Amen aren’t point guards and Sengun isn’t Jokic.

You forgot All Nba KD. If you added KD to the 24/25 team they would have gone to WCF. Stone sucks yet we have two years of a 52 win team that has a core of 23 yr olds? Nah you are just plain wrong.

Smart not a true pg? He been pg for most of his career. He already spent 9 yrs as pg bro he knows how to play the position by now.

Winning has many factors, the roster being good is also one of them. For example Doc Rivers won a ring with KG Celtics, but wouldnt most average NBA coaches win a ring with that group?

This year I saw the offense non existent and all we do is either KD iso or Sengun iso. We won 52 games but how much of that is the coach when all you do is ISo? Iso is just tell players to give the ball to KD and get out of the way right? where is the coaching there?
