[TV Show] What are you watching?

Detective Hole (Netflix): 8.5/10

My very first Norwegian TV show. I used subtitles. Tobias Santelmann and Joel Kinnaman (who was the reason I watched) were great. It is very character driven and dark.

Definitely not for everyone, but I liked it. If you prefer only American-style shows, don't even waste your time.

Rocket River

 

S2 of The Agency is now on Paramount. It's solid of you like espionage-type-stuff. Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Richard Gere and some other actors do a good job.

This is what happens. Was about to eliminate Paramount plus from my TV roster. Now I'm going to have to binge this and then let go of Paramount.
Which I will forget about, or a new watchable series will come out, and I will be paying for the rest of my life and probably to the beyond

 

Just finished binging the first season of Beef. That show is ****ing good. Funny, harrowing, complex. Great writing and acting.

 

have not heard of this show, and I have P+. mostly just use it for Serie A.

 

I honestly thought Javier Bardem could do no wrong, and then I watched the first episode of Cape Fear on Apple TV. I can’t believe I watched the whole episode. SO bad. His name is forever sullied.

 

Finished watching it, great second season. Pondering whether to watch the French show it's based upon while waiting for (hopefully) season 3.

 

If you like spy shows this one is great.

 

I'm not sure how or where I could watch that, but I've thought about the same.

Is there a more underrated "that guy" "character actor" than Jeffrey Wright? He's awesome in everything.

 

I didn’t realize that’s from The Bureau, until you said that. Yeah, I recommend The Bureau. I probably torrented it 8 yrs ago or something, maybe Amazon. Mossad 101 is another foreign one I recommend.

 

He was awful. It was awful. Whole thing was just all awful.

 

Just finished Rooster season 1, it was awesome.

Good news, it's also on Paramount+. And yes, Jeffrey Wright is highly underrated as an actor.

 

I am YEARS behind the curve, but started binging Game Of Thrones after my sister house sat and left HBO Max on my TV...........I am on season 4 and my gosh, this is one of the best series I have ever seen.......................my fear is she changes their password to HBO and I am ****** LOL

 

are my wife and I the only people who do not like Widow's Bay? it just seems weird for the sake of being weird, kind of like Lost was in its latter seasons.

and the "humor" is lost on me...

 

we watched it several years ago; it's excellent.
