Think I already have JB rumor fatigue (even though it’s less than a month old)

Poor Domas, sounds like the Pistons are not interested.

Sabonis isn't a lob threat but he would help unlock their offense because he's a good facilitator and can score outside of 2-ft from the basket. Calling him a "shaky" shooter when Duren is a total non-shooter is silly. He's very physical (borderline dirty) and rebounds every bit as well as Duren. The Pistons team b-ball IQ would make a big jump.

He's a good player, but no better than Sengun. I thought Sabonis was an example of a bad contract the Pistons would have to take back from the Kings for Duren, along with Lavine and Murray. Duren is delusional trying to work out sign-and-trades with teams that don't have cap space as if he could dictate what the Pistons take back for him.

It would be really weird to see the Pistons be an offensive team. They're supposed to be a defensive team. That's their niche in the NBA.

With Sabonis instead of Duren, the Pistons offense would have been much less predictable and harder to stop in the playoffs. Sabonis' floor vision and passing skills would make every player on the floor a threat.

    not with playmaker Cunningham

he's as good as a playmaker as Luka, developing into an above average three pointer, can get to the line with the best of them

He really isn't that shaky, even not compared to Duren. Aside from the 19 games last season, he averaged 37%, 38%, and 42% from 3-point range his last 3 seasons. Those numbers are a rarity for an elite rebounder.
