If you click through to the Twitter post, the user context explains that was an opinion posted by a user on a media website. Not a statement from anyone in government. Smart dude and educated on the topics, but too eager to find the raw intelligence and stumbling into misinformation all the time. I wouldn't trust any of his Twitter drops.

I gave that claim a chance because a similar statement was made before the war (in 2025).
