Considering that Mavs are trying to trade for Kawhi, you could do a 3 team deal where Clippers get PJ Washington and FVV, Dallas get DFS and Kawhi, and Rockets her Kyrie. Some draft compensation from Dallas to Clippers. Not sure why the Clippers would take on FVV, they could always unload him to another team.
I just hope the Rockets don't trade FVV and DFS for Ja Morant, Ja can't shoot for ****, so he's an Ime type of player.
That's an interesting idea I hadn't considered. We clean up our cap sheet, and Charlotte gets tradeable expiring contracts. That would be appealing for the Hornets, who I think will go into the season with their current core squad and make decisions at the next trade deadline. I wouldn't include a FRP, but SRPs? Sign me up.
We could use KD and get frp’s back and trade FVV and DFS at the deadline with a frp for an upgrade to the backcourt, as well.

Man i wish we had a team full of shooters. Ja is the perfect buy low player. If, big IF, Amen/Sengun can take the shooting leap next year Ja would fit this team. Not buying the shooting leap though.
This one and one more.... 86 million for an absolutely terrible injury prone player that is a net negative on the court and a head case off the court. Quite literally KPJ would be better both on and off court as crazy as that sounds.

For Fred not to opt in would be utter stupidity on his part... For the Rox to extend him at this juncture would be moronic... You play it out and hope Fred can contribute on at least a limited basis and see what he's got... and then u either trade him as an expiring (prob at the deadline) or let him play out the year if u dont have an takers... and FVV shouldnt have any hard feelings regarding not getting an extension... it is what it is... his injury leaves far too much uncertainty...
Who cares if he can't shoot the 3 at an elite level! Ja can get to the basket and get Sengun/KD easier looks. If Jabari can't shoot at an elite level, I'll be making calls to the Pelicans to get Trey Murphy! My ideal starting lineup: Sengun KD Trey Murphy Amen Ja Morant
