the way the nba is handling it feels very corrupt. Like they waited until after the draft, but one of the repercussions may well be that they lose a future pick. I just think the way the nba has handled this really smells. Silver has been a bad commissioner on many levels imho.

I dont want kawhi but there are definitely plenty of reasonable moves that could be made to improve the team for now and the long term
6 yrs rebuilding to run out an ancient super team. Thinking that we have the foundation to contend with Kawhi is delusional. Kerp in mind Harden just bolted because he didn’t think they could contend. I don’t understand the reluctance to keep building and getting better as opposed to going for these over the hill swings. We’ll see if there’s any truth to this, but u don’t make this move unless u are already a contender.
KD for Kawhi sure.....FVV and DFS for Kawhii ....sure....but not anything of true value....he is too old and too injury prone. DD
Exactly and only if you can’t get other younger guys with value offering those guys up. Kawhi when healthy is a much better all-around basketball player and teammate than KD.

I don't know why, but the KD for Kawhi thing hadn't occurred to me. I think I'd probably do that one. I suspect the Clippers would target younger players though.
