Yordan not pinch hitting here is quite ridiculous. Especially with the lefty coming in. That's an Alvarado 3 run homer waiting to happen. We may have the dumbest manager in baseball. Seriously. It's only a loss to put a halt to the winning baseball we've had the last few weeks. No big deal.
Idk why you pinch hit for smith here . They have the lefty in the pen ... In fact the pitcher was struggling so if smith batting leaves him in then that's great ! Also smith already hit a HR today I hope it works out , but I don't like taking the bat out of smiths hands

Joe doesn’t think. Loperfido was 1/13 against LHP this season. There’s zero planet where having Loperfido hit against a fresh lefty coming in was a better matchup than a struggling pitcher racking up a high pitch count in the inning against Cam.
