4 games. If the energy is what we had in this loss we are going home with 1-3 series.

Best way to beat Framber…bunt the ball and get him rattled.

Every runner on 1B should bluff a break to 2B (unless they're actually running) just to **** with him.

Fun Fact: runners are 91 for 98 on stolen bases vs Framber in his career

eta: got some speed in the lineup today, Pena/Altuve/Smith/Meyers/Matthews should run every chance they get

It'd also help keep out of the inevitable GIDP

This smells like L anyway and against Framber so have no problem with Yordan sitting. If I remember correctly Yordan was better after sitting the 1st game this season.

If sitting worked Altuve and Walker should be glued to the bench for a month.

Stros have chance for 2 more wins !!

    A split isn't bad either.

IF the Astros EVER reach + differential, it's not happening until mid-August. Five hundred and a suck AL is the basic and valid distraction from the Mt Everest climb to respectability.

Considering no Yordan, LHP, and road game..... good enough lineup. Espada is absurd with Meyers not-9th, but he's not 8th at least. We need Matthews to do something, and maybe Diaz has a slight advantage seeing Framber so much.

Teng has 5 days rest. He hasn't has a good start with 4 days, and he could probably use 6 or 7 his final start before ASB.

That’s honestly an insane stat given he’s a lefty.

He could use a day off and it’s better to give it to him today than tomorrow with Hunter pitching. Matthews and Meyers have a better chance against a lefty anyway.

Tom Glavine or Andy Pettitte he is not.

eta MOAR fun facts: Pettitte picked off 98 runners in his career. Framber has picked off 5

More sense for less offense (no Yordan) tomorrow, if assuming pitching will allow less -- but no major concern.

Astros definitely need to have baserunning top of mind today. Avoid the DP. Score from 2nd.

That's some Dusty Espada thinking right there

If he needs a day off fine, but the last time Jake was even an MLB average hitter vs LHP was 2024. .434 OPS vs them this year, .682 last year

Jake and Brice OPS vs LHP added together is barely more than Yordan's lol

Side question here: Why is the WWE covered by sports networks?

Would have loved Pena bunting for a hit there.

Conframberlate him early before he gets in a groove.
