Fair enough. Some of us white boys grew up in single mother households too. Some of my white friends from good families were straight up criminals. Somebody has to take control. Mom, grandma, uncle joe… whatever

violent crime is a sign that something deeper has gone wrong. The parents shouldn’t be excused.
