They have a strategy and are not being distracted by things that deviate from that. They are not guaranteed to succeed but I respect the discipline. It’s easy to experience FOMO and want instant gratification. I think we should try to resist that.

Stone and Ime have chosen to go down with the ship. They’re loyal to our current squad. For better or worse…

    Doesn't surprise me a bit!

And just because he traded for KD last yr, doesnt negate the fact that you have to keep improving. Last yr is over

this is from one guy. Means nothing. Also to note Rockets front office is built to prevent leaks since information is kept among a small group. Other reports have already linked Rockets to Brown

Stone probably thinks the rockets core is as good as the spurs core. LOL

Well, this confirms Zach Lowe does not read anything on this board. Being surprised at our front office doing nothing is so adorable.

    Stone has a strategy.

The strategy is that everyone will be continuously healthy, non shooters will learn to shoot, and a tough love players coach is superior to a modern cerebral tactical coach.

    Get with the strategy.

A good strategy doesn't include telling everyone what your strategy is.

A good strategy doesn't include blowing in the wind and making knee jerk reactions to everything that happens.

Just cause some rando reporter doesn't understand your strategy is doesn't actually mean anything.

    Reported

This really just sounds like Zach Lowe being frustrated that the offseason isn’t meeting his personal expectations. The Rockets aren’t interested in the players that are available, so they aren’t in on the bidding. It’s easy to understand and doesn’t sound like a bad strategy.

Weird that the season is several months away and yet the Rockets have decided to just roll with the squad as is. Keep on keeping on Clutchfans.

The FO’s greatest discipline is not sharing any insights of consequence with their fan base. Deets? No. Some direction? Shirley.

Stone knows that Spurs and OKC are too good, no point in competing with them. He is strategically positioning franchise to start accumulating talent once those guys start to age in like maybe 10 years. Sold Fertits on the plan, they just need to extend Sudoku and double his salary so they still has this basketball savant of a coach in late 2030s.
