LaMelo without Kon or Brandon Miller: 130 offensive rating

Kon and Miller without LaMelo: 108 offensive rating

Lamelo with Kon and Miller: 134 offensive rating

Knueppel's numbers are significantly better with Ball on the court, as are everyone's on the roster. But when your game is predicated on shooting and space is crucial to that, it certainly would make sense that Knueppel will suffer the most.

Those open shots he knocked down with ease are going to be harder to come by now. The starting five of Ball, Knueppel, Brandon Miller, Miles Bridges, and Moussa Diabaté had an offensive rating of 134.7, which is absurd.

Swapping Ball for Sion James dropped that offensive rating to 89.3, which is atrocious. The offensive rating for lineups involving the two-man combo of Ball and Knueppel was 123.9. Putting any other guard in that combo came nowhere close.

    Kon’s 3 point percentage dropped 10% with LaMelo off the court…from 48% to 38%

Lamelo was basically acquired for Naz Reid and a distant future pick…the pick swaps may or may not convey

either his ankles are on life support, or the Wolves got a very impactful player for hardly anything

We traded for a superstar last year.

How did that work out? Stars that are on the move are on the move for a reason.

We can't even wait until the end of the off-season to take a dump on our team?

Right so you either get more to help him or you dont and you rebuild. You cant keep going middle man. We are going to be irrelevant for years. When the Knicks got Brunson they didnt say we're good. THey traded their young guys. When OKC found out how good shai was they traded the old guys and later got vets. YOU HAVE TO PICK A DIRECTION. Are we building around Amen or KD? What are we doing?

LOL.... No I am a grown ass man who doesn't believe corporate press conferences.

We are clearly not all in contending and we are clearly still developing players and hoping for internal improvement. Learn to judge based on actions not rhetoric.

I think my problem is their actions, right? I used that as proof of what they said they are doing. You are operating off of nothing because yours is a losing opinion. On my point of view I can point to what Stone said and did and you can point to neither.

The Rockets org is 100% content with collecting playoff money and getting bounced in round 1. They don't want to make the moves to contend with KD and they don't wan to rebuild and miss the playoff money.

And this is my problem and why we all should be angry as fans.

You're problem is you are impatient and expect them to be playing the part of contenders like the FO indicated they would....

In reality, it's not some instant switch to flip and you are judging the actions based off one entire season.

In reality, every year there comes a new crop of known and unknown stars that become available. Every year there will be a new crop of Ayos and Cobys for the GARM to claim is the perfect fit.

Just one round.... they want to make money but only one round of playoff money then be content? Not two?

Crazy what some of yall think of.

We are supposed to be trying to win a chip with a 38 year old and they are NOT actually adding pieces that fit with the 38 year old. Im not impatient THE ROCKETS ARE. I wanted to keep rebuilding. If it were up to me we never would have gotten a 37 year old we woulda traded Jalen for a young point guard last year.

I agree with you but it's pretty hard to hold the FO accountable for anything when the fans in Houston don't really seem to care about the Rockets. The playoff crowd is an embarrassment and has been even when we had a generation talent in Harden and a contender every year. You can always spot empty seats on the broadcast and most people especially in the lower section seem like they don't even want to be there.

Again actions..... Clearly the org isn't operating on KD's timeline.

They have no timeline. They have no idea what they are even doing. Why trade for KD if your not operating on his timeline to win a ring? Like I said it seems like they set the bar low.. get to playoffs and that's it. You 100% believe they are doing everything they can to win?

Yeah, Offseason just started, the team also has made moves (good and bad) every year thus far. We already had the report that they were basically willing to trade anyone on the team outside of Amen.

I'll be mad if they run it back, this team ain't good enough to run anything back and just expect FVV to fix everything, but we really can't say that's what is happening when Free Agency hasn't even started yet lol.

You still believe they only want make money off one playoff round? Or was just hyperbole to trash the org?

I dont know why you keep saying actions as if the problem isnt actions lol They got KD thats a ****ing action. Why get a 38 year old tell everyone your plan is to contend with him and do nothing to go in that direction? You dont have to keep a rebuild a secret especially when you made the playoffs without the 38 year old. They arent playing chess they are playing checkers badly and youre making every excuse for them. grasping at straws.

I fully believe their goal is to simply make the playoffs and that is it. Their actions have proved that.

U would swear we're a borderline play in team every year with the amount of crying that goes on in these threads

Sure they are. They just think they’ve already assembled a championship contender. If they were still in development mode they wouldn’t have extended FVV, Adams, signed DFS and Capella and brought back journeymen like Tate, Holiday, Uncle Jeff. Stone and/or the “Family” have been hypnotized by the omnipresent Ime Idiodoka.
