100% agree! Give it 2 to 3 years to see if it materializes. This should be our contingent plan if none of our young guys break out.

Ant isn’t going anywhere. The Timberwolves just mortgaged their future to appease Ant.

Doubt Minny does this. They just set up there 1+2 punch for the future. This move was to get past the spurs.
    They got Ball for Peanuts.

This just got dated now that they got LaMelo

The TWolves window to give that duo a chance wil overlap our window to see if the Rockets can actually be a serious contender.

if both teams fail, it will be time for both teams to tank or rebuild again.
You can forget about seeing Ant Edwards as a Rocket.

The way Stone & Ime have been moving, I don’t expect any major moves.
    We’re cooked next season

In all seriousness I can see the LaMelo thing backfiring in multiple ways. Injuries being the obvious one. But I also think he is kind of an empty box score guy who gives far too much back by chucking up bad shots and playing turnstile defense.

Yeah, it could blow up, especially given LaMelo’s health. However, I’m not sure I would call him an “empty stats” guy. The Hornets were 3-7 last season without LaMelo, and their offense cratered when he was off the court.

Folks need to chill on the Ant trade dreamcasting. He’ll likely stay in Minny, but even if he eventually asks out, it’s unlikely Houston is the place he ends up relative to all the other options he’d have. If your hopes for the rockets future depend on getting Ant, you are going to be extremely disappointed. Obviously u maintain assets for the remote possibility of landing him if that materializes, but hope is not a strategy. We need to go find our own Ant.

This team doesnt make the small moves lol. Weve never valued assets and manipulating capspace and have even blown multiple very high draft picks that other teams would kill for

We are more of the do nothing and then sign the corpse of dfs kind of team. Or the throw a bag at ****ing fvv team

Hmm the Knicks would disagree here. They had the balls to make moves for Kat and Mikal even when everyone laughed at them. There is also zero indication Ant even wants out.

Most likely not happening. Then, what...
The percentage play is to take a step back. But, time is of the essence regarding KD. Trade him for youth and picks now.(actually, before this last draft)

This. As a Hornets fan, I’m not a believer in LaMelo and think this move will help us in the long run if/when this experiment fails in Minnesota.

Their not getting past the Spurs, Thunder, and now the Nuggets. They lost front court depth, but they'll be fun to watch.
We should be making calls to the Mavs for Kyrie and the Grizzlies for Ja Morant.
We probably got the worst backcourt as "contenders" in the West

This is just like how I've been saving myself for Megan Fox for the last 15 years. Any day now!
