No one cares about Gaza. That's not why she lost. She lost because she is a woman and was tied to Biden.

Republicans consistently play the divide and conquer game. The Gaza single-issue voters were played by Republican strategists. Gaza voters should be very proud of their choice.

But actually try the hard work part. It’s takes hard work to become better.

I didn’t say it’s the reason she lost, I said it was part of it, and acting like it wasn’t atp is just silly…and acting like no Dem voters care about it is also silly

even if Gaza single-issue voters are dumb AF, every percent or 2 of voters that you lose or cause to sit out/vote 3rd party matters…Gaza is an easy issue now anyways

any Dem candidate still wanting to be Israel’s lapdog and waffling back and forth on the Gaza issue is just an idiot

I’ll start telling all the black people I see to stop being blood thirsty killers for you, do my part.

From what I’ve seen, after the crack epidemic black homicide rates fell pretty sharply and stayed consistent until the covid spike, and now it’s going down again. So it hasn’t been an exponential increase.

Gaza single-issue voters are never satisfied and 90% unreliable. There are too many other issues to even care about Gaza.

Only an idiot would think I was talking about every black person. Go home with that weak trash.

In fact, not even an idiot would think it. You’re a separate category.

the issue of Gaza involves the issue of our relationship with and sending weapons to Israel…if you don’t think that won’t be a major topic in upcoming elections, especially Dem primaries, then you’re just burying your head in the sand

and not doing what you can to pick up as many votes as possible especially with an issue as easy as Gaza is foolish

Im not going to lie, I don’t anybody who’s killed people (that I know of). So I don’t really know who to tell.

I don’t think telling people to be better makes them any better is my point.

When I think about crime prevention, I think about poverty, employment, education, and general opportunities and spaces for youth.

I think about black people and their 33.6/100,000 per capita murder stat and how it dwarfs all other races.

I don’t blame poverty or employment or education and they have the same opportunities that I have had. When I was poor and jobless, I didn’t even think of killing anyone. Maybe that’s where culture comes in.

    Again, obvious. Common sense.

I'm trying to get to your point though. Black people need to get common sense, and the path for that is - for other people to tell them to get common sense?

You're saying poverty, education and employment won't change it, that a 100 years will go by and nothing will change, that they are blood thirsty killers, that it's a problem, and times up.

What does that mean? What is the solution for America then?

Primaries are almost over. I don't think Gaza is an issue for the general. Tie it to the Iran war's failure pushing inflation, new massive spending, and a record military budget while Americans struggle at the grocery store. Plenty of opportunity to show massive mismanagement by this admin, Republicans cheering on the failures, while ignoring the basic issues of Americans - everything is getting more expensive and they don't care.

Like he sometimes does, Trump unintentionally hit on something here. People who bought their homes in the 1980s and 1990s, especially in high cost of living areas, hit the lottery. They have every rational reason to fight local changes that decrease the value of their lottery ticket. I'm not saying it's right, but I understand the behavior.

I also regret engaging with the one-trick pony earlier in this thread. His obsession with the black crime rate has nothing to do with the midterm elections.
