I'm not running for office. But if I were, these are some of the lessons I'd take away from what happened in NY yesterday. 1. Authenticity is measurable. Voters can smell a focus group from a mile away. 2. Endorsements from the current Democratic leadership now read like warnings. The establishment wing of the party is no longer a sword. It's a question mark. 3. Conviction beats caution. The candidates who said hard things about rent, about who pays for what, about Gaza, they won. The triangulators lost. 4. Cost of living is everything. Everything else is wallpaper. 5. The middle is not a strategy. It's an empty room. Voters reached past the establishment to grab someone who actually believes something. 6. Don't fear the base. Court it. The Democrats who ran from their own voters lost. The ones who ran toward them won. 7. If you want to lead a party you have to be willing to fight inside it. Mamdani didn't ask permission. He took the field. The lesson under the lessons: the country is tired of being managed. People want to be led.
Your posts would be right at home on white supremacist places like stormfront or KKK meetings. Enjoy the company you keep.
You're the one talking about it? Time is up for what exactly? So your answer is culture, what do you think causes black americans culture problems? What is a solution to cultural problems?
it already is…it happened in Maine and will possibly happen in Michigan as well affordability/rising costs, the housing crisis, healthcare, increasing the minimum wage, no longer wanting to be Israel’s lackey, reigning in ICE, etc aren’t issues unique to New York
um… stop killing and aborting at 3rd world rates. Stay in school. Fathers be fathers. Less complaining. Less deflection Less hatred. Less narcissism. Less selfishness. Less false prophets. Less violence. Less theft. Less black reddit, less teen takeovers, less hatred in their hearts. More respect for people’s property and right to safety, more God, better leaders, more decency, More determination to become better people. Better parents make better people. Stop telling your children that white people are evil or holding them back. Stop calling your boss a racist in front of your kids. And so much more. I don’t care if you’re poor. Stop killing people. A lot of you aren’t poor and still kill people at a high rate. Just stop the killing. It’s holding America back. This is all just obvious common sense. The emperor has no clothes. Clean up your house and stop asking others to figure it out for you.
So what you're saying is clap clap play harder I don't think a halftime speech is what fixes up black culture
Well the main message was to stop being bloodthirsty killers. But yeah, you could play harder too, I guess. Look inward. Look to God if you have to. Stop murdering everyone. like I said, it was just a start.
I don't think of myself as a Democratic Socialist, but those folks in NY are coming up with solutions to issues to the average New Yorker and it seems to resonate with them, so good for them and I hope it works. Hell, Mandani was able to do good things right off the bat, will they all work, maybe not but at least there doing SOMETHING I will get behind people who CARE and actually have a plan to do something. I think one thing is clear from all of this, is the rich need to get taxed properly, no tricks, no loopholes but an honest to goodness way for them to pay their fair share
No actually I’m appalled at what just happened in Chicago. Like you should be. But you’re not. No surprise. Human life is cheap to some. It will never change, I guess. Just keep killing everyone and blame the big bad racist whites for it. Wake me up in 100 years and show me how nothing has changed. Awesome.
agreed…well said but tbh ROCKSS, I’m a single issue voter now…I want this corrupt and criminal Trump regime to pay, every single one of them…so any Dem candidate in 2028 that’s not talking about bringing swift and heavy justice to these demons, I have little interest in
Gaza was a big reason Kamala lost, and it will be a big issue in any Democratic primary…the issue of Gaza also ties into divesting away from Israel, so it is definitely a national issue you can not talk about Gaza without talking about the weapons we send and relationship we have with Israel
