Loving what? Are you saying the world wouldn't be a better place without a totally decimated Iran?

I've spent too much time in here and I'm going to talk Srros baseball for awhile.

So what's the actual end state of "starve/bomb/destroy infrastructure"? Either it topples the regime, or it doesn't. Pick one. I'm not asking rhetorically, answer A or B:

    A) It topples the regime. Then it's regime change, full stop, the exact thing you said wasn't necessary. You got there by bombing instead of saying the words, but the outcome is identical, so your original claim was wrong.

    B) It doesn't topple the regime. The same government you say "can't be trusted" is still standing, presumably now expected to sign some agreement. But you already disqualified that yourself: if they can't be trusted, no signature means anything. That's your own premise.

So which is it, A or B? Because "some of both" or "neither" isn't a real answer. It just means you don't know.

And if the answer is another short sentence about resolve or pressure without picking A or B, that's not a third option. That's confirming you don't actually have a real answer.

To be clear if I was in charge regime change wouldn't matter. Because they would spend the next 20-30 years using their own money trying to rebuild after the destruction I put on them

Fight to win or don't fight at all.

    I give up

if this was any other administration, I’d say Iran is full of sh*t, but they’re actually the more trustworthy source atp

the way Trump and his little henchmen just make sh*t up is legitimately insane…it would be one thing if what they spew was just missing a little bit of context or maybe was slightly inaccurate, but their claims are always of the “this just straight up did not happen and was never agreed to” variety

they just make up entire conversations…they make up agreements…they make up deals

this is beyond market manipulation atp

    this is just psychotic

Lol. Never really been a problem before until you people made it one now, and maybe in the future.

I believe neither at this point.

Remember when Obama had all of those horse race tweets during the JCPOA negotiations? I sure don't.

This is just Trump being bored with doing the actual work.

BREAKING: Iran rejects new claims by Trump, Vance, and Treasury Secretary Bessent that Iran has agreed to nuclear sites inspections as a "first step in permanently denuclearizing" Iran, saying the US claims are "very damaging" and the arrival of IAEA inspectors would itself violate the MOU, with Iranian officials having already prevented IAEA Director Grossi from attending Sunday's negotiations and emphasizing that Iran's "nuclear ambiguity" policy, where the location of enriched materials is unknown to the US, is one of Iran's most important strategic assets that it will not give up and "will only benefit the enemy" if compromised, per Tasnim.

Iran's FM Spokesperson Baghaei also said Iran made "no new commitments" on the nuclear file during the 18 hours of Switzerland talks, did not negotiate the nuclear issue at all and does not plan to in the future.

Iran further described IAEA inspectors as "America's foot soldiers," which Iran says is the reason why no official has agreed to inspections.

I’m starting to get it. Vance is over there saying ‘come on guys you better give us something or this crazy guy is fixing to start lobbing nukes on you. No telling when he’ll just flip out.’ Wow what a negotiation tool. GENIUS

Is there any way the current administration saves face in ending this whatever it was/is?

I know the gullible will eat up whatever comes out of Trumps mouth.
But for those of us clear minded individuals who see we are far worse off that where we were on February 28th.

The deal as it is on the table at current point is by many accounts much worse than what we had before.

But here is the catch 22. Do you say no way to this deal and level Iran to the ground, or do you tuck tail and continue to pretend and lie saying we somehow are better off with what is transpiring?

Should have let sleeping dogs lie.

WTH. That statement makes zero sense. The MOU specifically called for nuclear negotiations.

So the strategy is a multi-decade bombing campaign? Brilliant way to bankrupt the US. But it’s totally worth it, right?

The icing on the cake is that when a regime has absolutely nothing left to lose except its survival, they will for sure develop a nuke as the ultimate insurance policy. But I guess that would require understanding cause and effect.
