I don't think brown is hurt, other than his pride. Needed 85 pitches to get 9 outs for the team that sees the least pitches per plate appearance.
Where do you want him to hit? 4th? This lineup **** is so stupid. Either you’re a good hitter or you’re not…right now he’s not a good hitter. Outside of Paredes, Yordan and Pena, there aren’t any other good hitters on this team. Hitting him 4th isn’t going to make a damn difference.
If Diaz or Walker could hit a ****ING FLY BALL this game would be tied. Toronto is hitting like professionals. DD
Right? Because where he hit last year made ALL the difference. I personally like Paredes in the three and what he brings following YA but yea it's whatever.
1-5 - more Ks than hits, 0 XBH 6-9 - 0 hits 2 runs total Bright side is the pitching stats don't suffer the damage it could have. Win the series, please.
Yeah, I think it’s sound logic to hit your better hitter (at least right now) behind Yordan. I’d hit Paredes third as well. Mainly was referring to the tweet he posted talking about Walker “not being comfortable” batting third.
Hunter with an off night, but overall the pitching staff kept the game close enough. That could have easily been a blowout by the Jays. Gotta bounce back and win the series.
