He’s been really awful this season. He was pretty bad last year, but absolute trash this season.

Appeared his knee buckled inward slightly during a swing.

He didn't show much pain, but tapped his outer thigh then exited after talking to the trainer, no noticeable limp.

 

Unless that liner broke a bone in his back he should be fine, sore but fine. Bigger issue was him throwing 575 pitches to get nine outs! Peña worries me more but hopefully they’re being cautionary.

 

He knew how to throw that Ranger series, that’s for sure.

Diaz is not the same player he was in 2023 or 2024 (when Dusty was already gone). Has zero to do with Dusty. Do we just always assume that a player fizzles out because a manager wasn’t retained? Diaz and Chas are the only cases where I’ve heard people say something so stupid. Delusional Dusty fans.
