You are looking purely at stats. He killed chemistry. KD only cares about getting his. Look at Phoenix, they were better without him and I promise that IS NOT because they got Jalen Green. It was addition by subtraction. If we do not get rid of him then next year is already a wasted season.

 

People can hate KD or even think he is overrated.

Having said that - he was by far the best player on the Rockets last season and amazingly was healthy for most of the season.

I have no issue with the Rockets trading KD for a draft pick - I even think that the Rockets should continue their rebuild.

I will just say that the criticisms of KD should have remained behind closed doors -- but what KD said is accurate.
