KD knows he'd have never won anything if he didn't decide to join the best team in the league and he's insecure about it.

    It's predictable but pathetic.

He's always been one if my least favorite players based on who he is a a person.

He's a piece of ****. Not shocked no one wanted to be his friends. Imagine not being able to make friends with Steph Curry and Alperen Sengun two of the nicest people ever. Durant is the issue.

It's time to prove the world wrong when FVV gets back.... Next year it could be KD shaking the president's hand at The White House....

Sad part is that what KD was say is correct.

This team has no playmakers other than KD, they dont have shooters and they're very avg on defense.

    Sometimes the truth hurts.

Okorie is a 20-25 pick player in my opinion. The Rockets need a higher quality guard. Flemings might fall to 11. Acuff will be gone before that, and so will Burries.

I have him as a strong candidate to jump into the lottery, and I don't think he'd be as much of a reach at 11 as you might think. I'd be happy to get Flemings as well though. Lot of really good guard prospects in this class; shame we're not currently in a position to grab any of them

    What? are u serious?

I'm sorry, but go watch that elimination game against Spurs and tell me that he didnt purposefully quit. THAT was when I was done with him. And of course Morey rewarded him with a max contract that off season...

Then.. the dude didnt only quit... but he put on a fat suit and threw the whole team under the bus to drive down our potential return....

Like I said... people are going to have their opinions - and they aint changing - regardless of evidence to the contrary...

edit: KD was a FA and signed the contract he wanted... Harden has been under contract and forced his way out of 2 or 3 teams now...

The spurs game would never happen in this day and age since people now care about concussions, he would never be allowed to play.

Did he have a concussion? I've never seen anything on this. There were a few posts insisting that Harden was going to explain what happened - but i never saw boo...

From what I saw... the dude was pissed at being second guessed regarding the ending of the previous game... and decided to dog it in the elimination game.

The memorable matchup is heavily discussed for James Harden's lackluster performance and the heavy criticism that followed. [1, 2, 3]
    • The Stat Line: Harden finished with just 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 turnovers in 37 minutes, shooting an abysmal 2-for-11 from the field. [1]
    • The Context: The Rockets were playing at home and were favored to win, especially because the Spurs' superstar Kawhi Leonard was ruled out due to an ankle injury. [1, 2]
    • The "Quitting" Narrative: Because of the blowout and Harden's passive play, the performance sparked immense backlash. Analysts like Stephen A. Smith controversially stated that Harden "looked comatose" and that Hall of Famers told him Harden had quit on his team. [1, 2, 3, 4]
    • Aftermath: Despite Harden taking responsibility for the loss in post-game interviews, he received intense local and national media scrutiny when footage surfaced of him partying at a Houston nightclub shortly after the devastating elimination. [1, 2]

    edit:
    AI Overview

No, James Harden did not have a documented concussion during the 2017 playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs. [1, 2]
The rumor stems from his unusually passive performance and 10-point collapse in a pivotal elimination Game 6: [1, 2]
    • The Incident: During Game 5 of the 2017 Western Conference Semifinals, Harden took an accidental hit to the head/neck area from Pau Gasol. [1, 2]
    • The Speculation: Because his play sharply deteriorated afterward—culminating in a bizarre, lethargic 2-for-11 shooting night in Game 6—fans, journalists, and media figures like Bill Simmons speculated that he may have been suffering from an undiagnosed concussion. [1, 2, 3]
    • The Facts: Neither Harden nor the Houston Rockets ever entered the NBA's concussion protocol or confirmed a head injury. Harden himself stated he was fine, though he was dealing with various general postseason ailments. [1, 2]

    AI Overview

Yes, James Harden effectively quit on the Houston Rockets during the early part of the 2020-2021 NBA season. Following years of playoff disappointments and front-office shakeups, he actively forced his way off the team.
The messy exit played out through a series of dramatic events:
    • Training Camp Absence: Harden delayed his arrival to training camp and instead spent time partying in Las Vegas and Atlanta. He was also fined $50,000 by the NBA for violating health and safety protocols.
    • Plummeting Production: When he did play, his numbers and effort notably declined. His scoring average and shooting percentages dropped significantly over his final five games with the team.
    • Public Outburst: The breaking point arrived on January 12, 2021, after a blowout loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. In his postgame press conference, Harden publicly stated that the Rockets were "just not good enough" and that the situation was unfixable.
The very next day, on January 13, 2021, the franchise traded him to the Brooklyn Nets in a blockbuster four-team deal.

You didn't watch those games? He hit his head really hard on the floor at the end of the previous game. From the moment he got concussed he was horrendous (obviously). I know some people hate harden because he didn't win a ring here so it is what it is.

Edit - idk why you're posting this random AI garbage as if it's anything other then just AI garbage

I by no means trust AI to be 100% accurate... but it did pull info about this "concussion" that u claimed...

No disrespect to u... but I trust it to find info in a more thorough manner than a random internet posters assertions... now if u have some factual info to offer or a reliable source, beyond pure speculation, I'm happy to entertain it...

I'm not sure what more i can say then that i literally saw it happen, we're not arguing an opinion here, we're arguing about a simple fact.

I'll concede that he took a blow.... I saw it and AI even mentioned it... but for u to insist that he got a concussion that played into his performance 2 days later... thats pure speculation on your part.

and it was 9 years ago... nothing has been said since? When Harden blew on DM he doesnt say anything - "I played through a concussion for this a**hole!"? None of the guys who have retired (PJ, Ariza, etc) have ever made the claim... Show me anything beyond pure speculation...

If Kyrie says the Earth is flat... and AI says it aint... who r u believing? lol

I would say AI and kyrie are about equal as sources, that's a pretty good comp. Like i said, i literally saw it happen so there's nothing else i can really say. I had pork chops for lunch today. Do i have proof beyond the fact that i was there and it happened? Not really, just kinda is what it is. At the time i was livid that they played harden in that game, i thought it was the most idiotic thing i had ever seen in basketball.

    I’m 1,000% serious.

Harden never ran to the Warriors, he kept swinging. Dickerson went flaccid and hid behind daddy Curry.

Harden may have hurt your feelings with his exit but these are the facts and facts are stubborn things.

Harden is a hooper, Dickerson is an immature man child with burners and an inferiority complex.
