I don’t understand the judgement. Since when was “not taking yourself too seriously” a requirement for coaching? How do you know how Udoka is as a person when you aren’t around him and only see him in interviews or on the court? According to other players and coaches he’s a player’s coach. You’re not a player’s coach if you can’t relate to them and they can’t relate to you. You don’t get to be loved by players if you don’t have a sense of humor or no rapport with them. So why do fans keep judging this man? Is it fair to judge you if we only see you in office meetings or on the phone at work? That’s a snippet of your life and not representative of who you are. Same thing applies here. There’s plenty of articles and interviews out there on Udoka that Rockets fans should educate themselves on.
I'm not claiming to be any kind of expert on Ime, Mike Brown, or Pops (though I've read a book where behind the scenes Pops is featured). It's just my opinion based on the things I've seen. I was commenting on a video of Mike Brown causing his stars to cringe and acting like he's having a lot of fun. Who are you to judge my judging Ime anyway? Geesh
You’re entitled to your opinion. Clearly it’s just an opinion and another jab at Udoka that’s not necessarily based on facts. It’s getting old on this site
