Does the NFL have fixed, tracking cameras for analytics like the NBA does. Be cool if they’d post stuff like in-game, max speeds, or crash/collision metrics.
Yeah, they have all kinds of stuff like that. Never really thought about it before, but I have no idea why they don't incorporate that into the broadcasts. Maybe the video is proprietary for "internal use only"? They publish the data (like MLB does with "sprint speed", "bat speed", etc.... I'll sign your petition to make it happen. eta: here's the graph of top "average sprint speed" in MLB https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/leaderboard/sprint_speed ~30 feet per second is pretty damn fast, I say
Welcome back. Looks like you guys will win Group F and then face either Brazil or Morocco in the next round. Should be good.
Nah, we're good. Always one shitty game in the group stage so I was kind of expecting a draw. Will take a last minute win as well, of course. Even losing wouldn't have been a catastrophe since the knockout bracket probably would be easier if we finished 2nd. On the bad side, according to German TV Nico Schlotterbeck might be out for the tournament. Anyways, cheers!
“Wouldn’t it be appropriate if someone scored a rocket in Houston!” “Houston, they have a problem!” “A five-star performance from the Netherlands in the Lone Star State!" Didn't realize I was watching the Fox Dadcast (TM) of the Netherlands-Sweden game
