The ball Diaz hit would have been a double play anyway.

Arrighetti meet regression.... against an injured team too.

Hope the offense has more in it.

Welp, it was a good run spaghetti.

Perhaps you'll get better once your twins are older.

    Spaghetti sucks again.
This inconsistency is tough after hunter and Lambert.

Imai just had a good start but who knows what we'll get from him from game to game.

And if Teng will bounce back.

This team going auto limp dick offense every single time they score a ton of runs the game before is a team mental thing, right? Been like this for multiple seasons now.

    DIAZ SUCKS !!!!!

    He calls a LOUSY game......

If he can't hit, he stinks.

Arri was great with other catchers, Diaz calls sweepers....same ****ing plane....what a moron as a play caller.

Interestingly, it seems to be related to how he's pitching, to some degree. The two biggest concerns with Arrighetti were that he was walking too many people and was a pretty extreme flyball pitcher. But during this stretch in June, he's stopped walking people and gotten a much higher groundball rate - but he's giving up a ton more hits. I wonder if he is trying to "fix" his potential issues and instead broke himself.

Yainer caught Spencers three of first four starts before Diaz got hurt and they were all great. Do you and others purposely spew stupidity or are the Baker apologists just too lazy to verify what yall are trying to claim?

A .200 hitter could have a hot streak too, it does not mean he is a good hitter. Maldy studied the film for hours and knew pitchers as well as hitters inside and out. From all accounts Diaz is a lazy ass that does not prepare well.

This is what Dusty knew and fans on the outside did not.

Diaz was hitting in '22 though... alot.

If a catcher is bad at calling games, have a guy call it from the dugout.

Arrighetti is 4 games into his regression.

Diaz caught 5 innings, one earned with Jake earlier this year.

Well hopefully Cleveland uses up all its runs in this game and does not save any for tomorrow.
