Brice's splits are ****ing inexplicably ridiculous: Home: .113 .123 .200 .323 (81PA) Away: .293 .365 .489 .855(105PA) He's a top ROY candidate if he could replicate the road stats at home, hell, he's in All Star conversations
It has to be his vision at home to be that bad. I'm color blind, and I have the worst time playing pickleball in some environments. I literally go from being a very high-level player to average because of the lighting and color at a facility. Maybe yellow-tinted glasses or contacts to increase contrast would help.
That is WILD. Maybe it's something in his voice from postgame interviews on which I've inadvertently picked up, but I have most recently observed of myself a hunch's beginnings that he might actually work out at some point.
Brice Harper and others wear tinted contacts, so it's worth a shot. @Nook, go tell someone in the org my idea.
None, none of yall caught my intentional malapropism? (you can go ahead and google "malapropism" now)
He started throwing a splitter/changeup later in his career, just like Nolan did. Self-naming his slider "Mr. Snappy" is some classic stuff
Boob: The Houston Astros have told teams that they are wasting their time asking about shortstop Jeremy Peña and first baseman Christian Walker. They may be a sub-.500 team, but plan to be buyers at the deadline, not sellers, in a division in which only the Seattle Mariners are above .500. They are searching for bullpen help and a left-handed hitting outfielder.
I did, but I was too lazy to look up what the word meant. Which is really lazy since I only had to highlight the word on my phone.
