    Did I label someone a slur?

    Had I - oh, I don't know - labeled Jews as "bloodthirsty parasites", now that would be a slur, sure. I don't remember doing that, though. Odd.

    Also, when you advised me to dig into the history, then proceeded to reference the same PM already under discussion only 30 years earlier... That was cute.

    The last paragraph is spot on.

    The Iranian people need to keep their leaders in line or face the consequences. What does winning the war look like to you? Remember we aren't dealing with rational people.

    The Iranians have shown incredible rationality in this conflict. So have the Israelis.

    The Iranians would have already built a nuke if that was their actual goal. Their goal is to be the de facto and de jure hegemon of the Middle East and be allowed to sit at the big boys table in world affairs at the same time. But Iran is competing against the Israelis and Turks for the same space. And if the U.S. France Russia UK or China so no, then they cannot expand and control without the associated pariah status.

    you need to explain this to @Sweet Lou 4 2 , not me. That was my entire point. Building a nuclear weapon takes more than googling and if Iran could have it in six months, they would have had it two decades ago.

    I am convinced there are factions in Iran who would nuke Isreal if they did have a nuke. And we certainly do not want a decentralized government having nuclear capability
