Great game! So fun to see some emotion from Altuve and then come back with huge hits almost like just willing himself to do it .

Great great chance to finally sweep here and start the surge to .500. Guardians look really weak without leader Ramirez, DeLauter and Martinez. Scoring so much without Yordan rbi great to see as was Imai start.

Was praying we don't hit that 10 run curse and that we would have seen Abreu late with big lead so he would't be in play later in series in tight spot.

I think we are about .500 against LH starters and taking Astros -1,5 with about 2.33 return on game 2. Just feels they can't lose this one....but ofcourse baseball is so random and Guardians are 40-36 and we usually suck after big wins .

A's were down 11-4 in the bottom of the 6th, chipped away each inning (1-2-2-2 runs to tie it in the bot9) and walk it off in the 10th 12-11.

Mariners first deep playoff run ever and it must've taken a lot out of them. They clearly aren't built for October.

 

Need to hit, only 6-4 in that stretch, we need some bigger winning streaks.

Pena has always been good but man he’s really turned into such a good all around player. Just not a ton of weaknesses to his game anymore. And such a weapon once he’s on base bc he’s so fast and runs so hard.

 

Fat Nick Kurtz drawing a walk to end it sounds about right. What an annoyingly good hitter that guy is.

 

Along with their comeback wins, they're 14-10 in 1-run games. Their mojo won't hold up forever.

 

Keep Meyers 9th enjoying Peña Protection. Loperfido is making better contact lately. I think he will be an average hitter (at worst) which is huge 7th-9th. Keep Matthews out of Daikin. Yainer needs a 90 OPS+, then pray for Yordan's health.

Wade at 100 seems sufficient.

 

Not liking Meyers not batting 9th or Matthews not not starting at home.
