Are there any draft preps for the Rox or are we conducting workouts or our stupid GM does not care about this years draft?
Tillman should buy #24 since it comes with a guaranteed first round contract which the Knicks do not want.
I think there’s a cap on the cash you can send for a pick. I figured a first rounder’s value would exceed that. But yes, buy the first rounder if possible.
AI tells me we can send $7.878M in 'cash considerations' Apparently we have only spent $85,300 of our allowance for this season - so have most of it available. Would the Knicks trade their first round pick for our remaining cash considerations in order to dump Pacome Dadiet? We could accept his salary into our trade exception?
I think the Rockets are going to need Aday to figure this draft thing out. I'll give them until to(Mara).
Two years in a row with no FRP really sucks. The draft is a really fun part of being a fan for me, and it's just not very enjoyable when we only have 2nd round picks, especially now that most of the best 2nd round prospects ducked out in favor of NIL money.
Yeah, I've always loved the NBA and NFL drafts. I really didn't want to give up #10 last year because I'd like us to add new talent every year and lotto picks are valuable. Hell, Paul Pierce was 10th pick back in the day, you never know which guys will turn into something special. That's part of the thrill being a fan on draft night, we get a little excitement and a dose of hope, which is good for merchandise and ticket sales as well.
KD to OKC for the 12th pick and fillers is not going to be easy, but if he’s hungry for a ring, then OKC might trade for him.
I would do it in a minute, but I don’t think OKC has any interest. They are at least 2 years away from having 2nd apron issues and were not in the finals because of an injury to their second best player and a valuable rotation player. Presti will stay the course, not make a panic move for a cancer like Durant.
