I know. We’re just having fun. I like most of our players, but we should shop Kd and Sengun. They are a bad fit. I think getting 3 good frp’s for Sengun is an over value. KD is worth a mid-frp in this draft and filler. I realize the Rockets FO thinks differently and is exactly why they need to go. If they run it back with some journeyman signing like Schroeder, which I think is most likely, Stone will be losing his job after next season anyway.

Ja Morant is a negative asset. Memphis has to give up assets to get rid of him. That was one of the dumbest trades I’ve ever seen and I put some pretty stupid one’s out there just for fun.

Never been to Memphis and Never Will! But we can keep pretending and hoping that Amen will be our Savior when he’s just a role player who can’t shoot, dribble, or demand a double. And Jabari and Reed are just role players who got drafted higher than they should. I would rather the Rockets take the risk and get a Cam Boozer than being stuck in mediocrity. We missed out on drafting a Number one guy, We can take a flier on Ja Morant, At least he’s proven!

Thats a huge risk! I would give up Jabari and Reed but Amen, no way! He does too much to not require the ball.

I think we do need an Alpha in our young core but that price is too steep

We keep Reed in this scenario but have to give up 2027 BKN and PHX First, and The Rockets 2028 Pick

We can keep Reed if we give up both 2027 BKN and PHX First, and Rockets 2028 first! I would rather have Cam boozer over Amen, What happens when Amen doesn’t develop a jumpshot next year? His value won’t be the same!

Hell Yeah. Let’s get Rafael Stone the #3 overall pick again, he’s killing it with those.

Amen's value is going to be high until he's in his mid-30's. His athleticism is 1 of 1.

I just think you are overpaying for the #3 pick. But Im just a fan.

Without a jumper he’s always going to be a good 3rd option, And the 2027 Draft is weak!

Let’s see teams would be lining up to get Amen and willing to trade a top 3 pick for him. Memphis has been trying to trade Ja Morant for 2 years with no takers. There is a reason that basketball experts value these players so differently. Memphis has to tie assets to get rid of the guy and you want to give up our best player for him. Do a poll with your trade and see the results from Clutchfans, the people that have watched Amen more than most. Ridiculous.

That’s the problem! We’re overvaluing a guy who can’t shoot, can’t dribble, and doesn’t demand a double, He’s a 3rd option at best. He’s a Iggy or AK-47 type. At least with Sengun he led a team to the second seed as an offensive hub, You put the ball in Amen’s hands and get a stretch big that team isn’t making the playoffs. Why not take the risk? I firmly believe he is who he is and once he doesn’t develop a jumper rockets fans are going to be the main ones wishing they traded him sooner, he’ll be the scapegoat once Sengun is gone. This current roster isn’t going anywhere, JA might have less value but what if he has a great season in a new environment. And you get a chance at another top 3 pick by having a core of Sengun, Tari, Reed, Ja, and Boozer

Steven Adams for Bub Carrington and Justin Champanie

I saw the Wizards were interested in Walker Kessler and will have trouble finding minutes for everyone at G/F. Love what Steve-O brings but the age and health concerns are there.

Could then bring in Rob Williams.

Wouldn’t be happy with this as the only move but maybe as a secondary.

KD for the 11th pick and the injured Jimmy Butler is the only way to move him. Go for the BPA at 11.

i think u also try to extract something else from GS, but agreed that trade makes a lot of sense for both teams. Only problem is that I’m pretty sure KD has no interest in playing for GS again.

KD may want out from Houston and GS might be his only option.

How do you guys rate Josh Giddey to Alpi? Are they near equal in value? Chicago has nobody, I mean nobody to build around. I’m wondering if we could give them Sengun and 3-4 frps to build around.
Sengun 27 Nets pick, 27 Phoenix pick, 29 Hou pick, 29 Dal pick for
Giddey, Jalen Smith, #4, #15 in 2026 draft
Then find a way to get a stretch five using KD, hopefully to Miami if they strike out on Giannis. KD for Ware, Wiggins (#13 if you could get it, but still do the trade if not).

Amen, Giddey, Caleb Williams, Jabari, Ware

Bench: Wiggins, Jalen Smith, Reed, #15, Adams, DFS

    Snt Tari
Trade fodder at deadline FVV, Adams, DFS
Still have our own 27 pick, 28 picks, and 29 Phx picks
