Depends on who you get back for him. Also depends on what you get back for other trades you should make (KD, FVV, Adams). Take a step back for a year or two to get better in the future. Keep them all if you can’t get value and hope Amen and/or Sengun get a shot and Ime gets a brain.
You don’t think the rockets should trade sengun and 2 potential lottery picks for a way way way worse player and a non lottery pick? Reasonable i guess.
The deal Hemingway mentioned was for #15 though which is barely non-lottery. I don't think Trey Murphy is a vastly worse player than Sengun either, I think they are fairly close in value. (Sengun is a better player, but not by a wide margin, and Trey is much easier to fit onto a contender.) I still do think it's too many picks effectively just to get into the middle of this draft class though. Maybe if it was a high lotto pick...
You would trade sengun for murphy and #15? I sure as hell wouldn't and i'm not remotely a sengun guy. The idea of adding in TWO possible lottery picks is utter lunacy.
Here’s another one you guys will hate: Bucks: Sengun, KD, Herro, Mia 2030 frp Miami: Giannis Hou: Turner, Wiggins, Ware, Portis, 26 #10, 26 #13
I’m a Sengun fan and I don’t think that looks too bad. But only getting Portis for KD is a dealbreaker.
My question with this one: Can we turn #10 and #13 + other assets into Cam Boozer? If so, I'm onboard. If not, I'm not sure. Depends on who's still there at #10
I was actually going to add that, but hit post by mistake: #10,#13 Jabari, Reed, DFS for Ja Morant, Ty Jerome #3 Amen, Jerome, Wiggins, Boozer, Turner Bench: Ja, Portis, Tari, Ware Unload Adams, FVV, Capella for whatever you can get.
Those numbers aren't that big of a difference when you consider who you are playing with and and your role in the offense
