I take that to mean they don't really like Herro and he would need to be routed elsewhere. Any takers here? I'd do it for DFS, Reed and some second round picks. I don't think there's much of a market for him at his current price, so I don't think he'd cost a FRP.

I'd be much more interested in JB than Herro.

As much as I like Herro, I'm not giving up Reed for him.

Nah, that’s just Milwaukee putting pressure on teams to get their best deals out there. Giannis will be traded. They are not foolish enough to let this draft pass without getting to participate. It gets done before the draft.

Try this on for size .

    KD to golden state
    giannis to Houston
Jimmy butler plus a boatload of assets to Milwaukee.

Who gives a **** about offense and spacing .

    Fvv
    Amen
    Jabari
    Sengun
    Giannis

Reed , adams off the bench .

Need to figure out more guards and probably move capela .

You can't wall all 3 of Giannis , sengun , and amen.

Sengun and amen will have another off-season to practice shooting , for real tho .

What is MIL really trying to get ? Everyone always says good young players and draft compensation.

In reality the GM values self preservation and wants to push judgement 10 years cough cough .

If you are too good , your own draft assets are.worse. Now , Ive looked up MIL future draft picks and they don't own **** outside of this year . So , nvm . They will take anything and not care if they are bad.

No news recently on Giannis to Rockets.

Those teams are usually the ones making the deal.

Teams like Miami and Boston are used to drive up the price.

The internet has eroded media to the point where they can no longer afford reporters to cover teams and instead give bylines to fanboys so they can churn out garbage during their lunch breaks.

They are either about to get fleeced or lose Giannis for nothing. Either way, they are losing leverage the more they wait.

“In addition to depleting their depth, they have to take back $12M in salary which could make re-signing Tari Eason challenging, but this takes the Rockets from playoff team to ally if they can retain Eason.”

"playoff team to ally..." what does that even mean? lol

I thought you were talking about KD at first. The thing that tipped me off was KD isnt a "Fake" nice guy. He's just not a nice guy lol

I actually think there would be more interest in KD than Giannis. Just that the small interest in Giannis would generate more draft capital.

There are a lot of teams that (think they) could use KD.

All else being equal I think Giannis would still have more trade value than KD. However, Giannis is seeking a supermax extension, so that does change things a little bit. I think overall though Milwaukee fans are going to be disappointed by the return they get. I don't think Giannis has nearly as much value now as he did a couple of years ago.

It is a gamble for any team tying up so much money on a player at his age who relies almost 100% on athletic ability. When he falls over the age cliff his contract will be a huge albatross. He is not likely to make through his next contract with the same athletic ability level. That is not to mention the huge contract hindering the roster work that would need to be done to add the shooting he needs around him too be successful.

He might be the most rigid "superstar" in NBA history. He isnt unlike Sengun in a way. His presence really restricts how you run and build your team.
