    Team could really use his extending the lineup even if only a tad below league-average OPS+ and RBat like last season. This year he's 35+ below in both categories... last year just 5.

    Diaz will probably help Vasquez's production just by allowing Christian more rest. Vasquez started strong, then faded with more games likely due to fatigue. Teng is holding Vasquez's beer, but Christian is still drunk too. Yainer faded in September the past two seasons but it's hard to pinpoint anything with him besides streaky and free-swinger. Maybe Vasquez will help Diaz by lightening his load too if fatigue was an issue.

    Should have Trammell in there instead of Meyers. Otherwise it’s a good lineup.

    My guess is Vazquez will be paired with Imai, Lambert, and Arrighetti, while Diaz will be paired with Brown, Burrows, and Teng/Javier (I think Teng will be moved back to the pen when Javier comes back).
