Traitor George caught lying again !

    Inside Elon Musk’s Government Contracts

SpaceX, Tesla — and now, xAI — are collectively pulling in billions of dollars in government contracts and subsidies.

SpaceX reported $18.7 billion in annual revenue in 2025. However, the company is not yet profitable, recording a net loss of $4.94 billion during the same period

June 15 (Reuters) - Elon Musk said on Sunday that his rocket company, SpaceX (SPCX.O), opens new tab, could bring in $1 trillion in revenue by 2030

    https://www.reuters.com/business/me...-bring-1-trillion-revenue-by-2030-2026-06-15/

he's moved onto overpromising the next grift. a bazillion robotaxi by end of 2019.
now it's taking revenue from 18.7 billion in 2025 to 1000 billion in 4 years.

I get what you are saying, but so do Lockhead Martin, Boeing, Singer, and many others.
If you have quality products that further us defense tech than so be it.
I just don't see any one contract more nefarious than another.

Like or hate Musk. I myself don't give a rats patootie.
Bro has made a good life for himself and those he employees. Almost 150K per Gemini.
    I mean that's good right??

if you're following this thread, my post was to counter Traitor George's convenient lie that Musk's co receive very little Gov contracts.

i know that Space X's porfolio is 100% Gov contracts

SpaceX is definitely heavily dependent on government contracts.
That wouldn't be accurate. Starlink is the majority of their revenue, and many of their users are private sector. I assume they also receive some revenue via Tesla for Grok (which SpaceX now owns). Tesla will also eventually be putting Starlink in the cars. Just a matter of time.

    Agreed on SpaceX.
I don't have a dog in this fight.

I can see what you two are differing on.
Musk has brought a lot of innovation, regardless of whether it is ALL profitable or not. I know Tesla and Twitter are no longer the bell cows they were.

In the end it's all Monopoly money that is inaccessible most of the time.
I do not claim to be an expert on any of this.
I don't care for him as a person, but he is employing tons of people.
But I also know that is not what you guys are differing on.

as it relates to Tesla, the innovation credits need to go to the 2 original founders,

fresh from his sales of PayPal stocks, in 2004, Musk invested BIGLY in Tesla w him as co-CEO.

All would still be true if he was worth $200B.

But ask the employees he gutted at Twitter how they feel about what he's done for his employees.

I absolutely love my Tesla, but there is 0 customer service at Tesla. They lie to you constantly because they are overworked and only want to move onto the next person. Tesla isn't a place you want to spend 30 years working for. You work there until you burn out and then go find sanity. The benefit is if you can work there, you can work anywhere.

    Got Ya.
I have worked in Dining Management for the last 25 years.
I am no stranger to difficult working conditions.

I have never considered an EV, but I remember walking through the mall like 20 years ago maybe 15 and Tesla had a storefront where you would basically virtually build the car you wanted. Always looked empty. Probably why I did not buy any stock in the company. My bad.

He's going to get 30 billion a year renting out his stockpile of Nvidia chips to Google and anthropic that he has sitting around because the only people that use Grok are making AI pedo p*rn.

Other than you going on a tangent like every other post.
