I think his fit is fine if we get rid of Sengun and have Jabari be the stretch 5, but JB might end up overpaid since he has a supermax.
No point in tanking right now anyway, we already have Brooklyn swap rights next season. I can maybe see a purpose in taking a step back in 2028 and allowing the team to be middle-of-the-pack to get into the lottery, but that depends on what happens between now and then.
Nah Sengun should be the one to go over Jabari. Jabari is a stretch forward that can play small ball C. Jabari at 5 would open spacing for Amen and JB. OTH losing Jabari would limit the spacing even more, JB Amen and Sengun all need space to do what they do.
If this is true, it’s because there is something broken between Brown and the Celtics, not for basketball reasons.
