    Dad joke:
US to its Allies: We need to come up with $300 billion to pay Iran.
US Allies: We? Are you pregnant?

The Ds need to message the above in the 2026 midterms.

Trump and the Rs have spent $200+ billion (this is the addition DoD monies that Whiskey Pete has ask for since the start of the war) bombing the **** out of Iran, causing what appears to be $300 billion in damages (this is the reparation amount Iran is asking for).

The US tax payers get to pay for all of it. $500 billion. That is about $1500 per capita, for Trump's Excursion.

The Ds in 2027 should introduce a Trump's Excursion Tax. Everybody gets to pay for Trump's stupidity! There is zero chance that this gets through Congress and even less chance that Trump signs it into law.

If those are their demands there is no way a signed deal will happen. Even if we gave them all that, which we won't, Israel will not stop it's war in Lebanon.

But, he wants more and more and more on top of that.

"I am hereby calling on Republicans in Congress to IMMEDIATELY advance and pass the forthcoming $350 Billion Reconciliation Bill (Recon 3.0) — which, at the request of our Great Department of War — will include THE SAVE AMERICA ACT as well. No games, no delays, and no weak compromises! Do this ASAP.

This is a GENERATIONAL Investment in our Military, even bigger than President Reagan’s! Recon 3.0 is the ONLY path to the full $1.5 TRILLION DOLLAR Military Budget our Warriors need in order to build THE ARSENAL OF FREEDOM."

Oh, and a year to build his gigantic arch that Veterans complain spoils the view from the cemetery, but who cares about Vets. They are here to serve the Trump regime. They can cry as they walk along his Trump Promenade.

The language in the supposed "deal" I find eyebrow raising is the commitment for the US to remove all forces from "the middle east".

The US will be in violation of this agreement the day after its agreed to. The US ALWAYS has troops technically in the Middle East. We don't always know where they are, but they are always there even if its just for training purposes for Jordan, or another partner in the region.

There's ALOT here like this that is giving Iran all the leverage in the world to get sanction relief, and then days later after they get paid claim the US is in violation, and go right back to doing whatever they want to do.

Also there is no nuclear guarantees here at all really. It's a promise, and a virtual handshake. Far from what Obama had.

And all the Trumpers here for weeks have been going on and on about the nuclear threat... the nuclear threat... the nuclear threat.... and like I predicted, of course in the end Trump was ALWAYS going to agree to a deal that did nothing to actually curb their nuclear program. It's amazing how every time these MAGA Trumpers here know they are going to get on egg in their face, and they just cannot help themselves every freaking time.

Israel has now said that they were not in the negotiation loop. No doubt, if Israel thinks Trump and Iran are really close to signing a deal, Bibi will start bombing Iranian interests again, until Iran bails on the agreement,

Repeat after me. Trump ... has ... no ... cards.

Trump also recently said that if he were POTUS back in the day he could have stopped the Vietnam War in ... check notes ... three months. Three months!!!

Trump has been warned by people who know ...

Oil industry warns Trump administration of price spikes within weeks
    06/04/2026 07:28 AM EDT

The oil industry is warning the Trump administration that a Hormuz-sized hole in the world’s petroleum market is steadily draining inventories to levels that are likely to send global energy prices surging in the next several weeks, according to four executives.

Industry executives have flagged the issue to senior White House officials and Cabinet members in recent weeks as part of the Trump administration’s ongoing dialogue with the U.S. energy industry, the people said. The warnings came as recently as late last month as data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration and other sources began showing that fuel makers were increasingly relying on oil and fuel from their storage tanks to replace products no longer arriving from the Middle East.

“We’re at dangerously low levels already,” said one industry executive who was granted anonymity to discuss private conversations with the administration. “We have shared those concerns at the highest levels of government about what’s coming in mid-to-late June. … I hope they are paying attention to inventories right now. You’re hitting tank bottom.”

Iran has effectively closed the Strait of Hormuz since the U.S. and Israel launched military strikes three months ago, kicking off what has become the biggest disruption in crude oil flows ever. Countries are drawing down supplies in their oil and fuel storage tanks to make up for the shortage of supply coming from the Middle East, but inventories are now running dangerously low and some companies and market analysts are sounding the alarm that a price spike could come later this month.

Some of the conversations have been general warnings while others have focused on tight inventories of specific fuel types in particular locations, such as jet fuel on the West Coast, a second person involved in the conversations said.

A White House official denied that any senior members of staff have been warned privately by the industry about inventories. “Politico’s anonymous sources are wrong,” the official said.

An Energy Department official said that while the agency remains in regular dialogue with energy industry leaders, there have been “no such discussions” about inventories.

Executives from Exxon Mobil, Chevron and other oil companies are also raising the alarm publicly, warning last week that fuel prices are poised to jump if inventory levels continue their rapid decline. The U.S. average gasoline price was $4.26 a gallon Wednesday, according to AAA, $1.28 a gallon higher than before the war started, off the levels near $4.50 reached a few weeks ago.

Any other POTUS, who says he was close to a peace deal 39 times in the last 65 days, would be subject to the 25th Amendment. The Press would normally not be able to stop talking about the POTUS losing his ****ing mind.

Is it the Iranians saying to Trump that a deal is close 39 times? Or is it the voices in Donald Trump's head?

Conservative talk radio host’s brutal new label for Trump

Prominent conservative talk radio host Erick Erickson has a new label for President Donald Trump: “clown.”

On his Substack newsletter, Erickson slams the president over his approach to the Iran war, for which, he notes, Trump has at least 39 times in the last 65 days “declared the United States and Iran were close to a deal only to have the Iranians openly mock him and deny it.”

He notes too that Trump on Thursday morning told “Fox & Friends” that the bombing of Iran would resume. That changed quickly.

“By the afternoon, he declared bombings would cease because a deal was close,” Erickson writes. “He claimed buy-in from the Egyptians, the Emirates, the Saudis, the Kuwaitis, the Israelis, the Iranians, and more.”

Both Egypt and Israel said they had no knowledge of a deal.

“The President, the other days, said Iran was playing us,” says Erickson. “The only one being played is President Trump. A state of war exists between Iran and its neighbors. The ceasefire is a farce. The President has turned into a clown.”

Erickson is no moderate — he was once the editor-in-chief of the right-wing website RedState and was a Fox News contributor. His bio on Spotify says his podcast “cuts through the chaos with bold clarity and biblical conviction.”

Erickson goes on to call it “Obamaesque” to think that any negotiation with a “terrorist regime that is premised on bringing about the apocalypse” is possible.

He says Trump chose to “engage” Iran and criticizes him for dealing “a serious blow” but not a “knockout” one. And he criticizes Trump for ordering Israel “to pull its punches.”

“We have now harmed our relationships with our Middle Eastern allies who depend on us for protection,” writes Erickson. “The situation is now more unstable than before the war began and it is all because of a single person who swears he’ll get a deal any day now.”

“The President should be embarrassed,” Erickson charges. “Instead, he’ll be mad at everyone except the man in his mirror.”

that alleged deal is so bad, agreeing to it would be political suicide for the republican party

How are you gonna have the most bloated military budget in the world by far and get taken to the woodshed by freaking Iran? What good are all the fancy weapons when your leadership is low IQ and incompetent?

Not only that, even if we took all the uranium in Iran, Vance is living in an altered state of mind if he thinks that will bring everlasting peace to the Middle East. Whether it's Iran, Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, or the terrorist groups, the infighting, terrorist attacks, and wars will continue like they have for centuries. Time to focus on our own problems for once.

IMO opinion this will get done simply for the fact tramp needs to save face, now what I think we fail on is the "upcoming negotiation", this is simply a way to get out and declare victory to the magats. I think the talks get dragged out and the news cycle will focus on the next distraction

Plus, he needs some more fun on a defenseless country............................CUBA, here we come. Let's get those new trump resorts up and running

Because these religious zealot trailer trash supremacists ignored what everybody had been screaming for over 2 decades. Iran doesn’t have to win..they just have to remain standing and cause enough problems for the world. And any “conquering”’would be completely off the table given the man power, casualties, bloated deficit it would cause.

Hell, even the failed aerial campaign is bankrupting us.

The only people I know that support Trump are people that are pro China. They can’t believe how willingly he is bringing on the collapse of the US and absolutely love it

Believe it when I see it. Gas has done nothing but go down the last few weeks. I’ve been told for months that it would be through the roof. The 3.30s is not high at all, in fact it’s pretty cheap.
