I dunno what you mean by killing he team. When he got in foul trouble is when they started losing. He is soo important to their team. He absolutely goes number 1 in that crappy draft class.

Do you know how detrimental to the team a player has to be to have a team worst -11 in only 26 minutes as a starter?

He's a certified scrub that is being overrated due to being on a team with Wemby.

Except every single 2024 “redraft” out there has got Castle going first overall… so actually the overwhelming majority has him first overall in a redraft. Only a few folks like yourself that are clearly biased against him try to make it seem like that’s wild ;)

Ironically, not unlike the Olajuwon tip in where everyone gravitated to Drexler, and left Olajuwon for the clean tip in to complete the major comeback. History repeats.

The casuals that had Risacher #1 are now embarrassing themselves hyping up another scrub.... I'm not sure why anyone should pay attention to that other than to laugh at them.

They can just go re-watch highlights if their other 5 championships they've gotten since 1999, and hope they stud core of Wemby-Castle-Harper come back strong next season. They're young AF.

Wemby should get him a ring or two, hate saying that but...its true.

This will haunt him for the rest of his career though.

This is probably the greatest playoff choke ever, especially with it being in the Finals.

Spurs had the dumbest stretch in finals history in a game. So many dumb plays. Rushed the shot clock the second half and took quick stupid 3’s. I think Knicks close it out in game 5.

But Wemby will take this personally. Hes gonna come back even scarier and stronger next season. Might even add 10-15 pounds of muscle. The fact he’s still healthy and hasn’t gotten injured is impressive.

It will but if he is able to win 1 or 2 championships, will it matter? The Warriors didnt win after they beat the regular season scoring record but satisfied their fans with 3 more rings to the point they dont care about that record.

Or even the Spurs when Tim Duncan had that turnover against the Heat, followed by the Ray Allen 3. Spurs fans were hot but they won the title the next year.

Now if it was the opposite and Wemby won a couple and this Finals was his last ride, I would agree more.

Wemby is a mini Lebron that he is probably not going to end up with record title numbers but as you laid it out, 1-3 chips that are somewhat memorable and he would still be in that GOAT or Top 3 discussion.....

I could be dead wrong but this seems to be the path as it stands in 2026.

The interesting question would still be ....is he a life long Spur or does he bolt when he hits 30 (assuming relatively good health).

I don't think he is as loyal as Duncan and Robinson were, has that nasty streak.

He wins one title and this one is barely remembered (if the Spurs end up losing). If he wins 2, then it is forgotten/used as a "Wemby really learned from his first finals against the Knicks".
