I think for many older people, which all the 99ers are, it's tough to open up your mind and be accepting of new things because it implies you were wrong or an ******* all your life. So, it's easier to double down on the way they think it should be and the politicians take of advantage of it. Antifa and transgenders are things they never even thought about 10 years ago. Rural issues are also something the Democratic party has done a piss poor job of addressing since Bill Clinton.

    and yet

And are we here left to believe that somehow you can vote for the Rs who are 100x more racist than the Ds?

It sounds like you do not like the Ds, searched high and low for a reason to hate them and then proceeded to rationalize your vote for the Rs.

    Just like.

Remo Williams: You know, Chiun, sometimes you're a real pain in the ass.
Chiun: That is because it is the shortest route to your brain.
    Remo Williams: Chiun, you're incredible!
Chiun: No!... I am better than that...

Nah. I was a democrat but I was old school. BLM, Antifa, openly racist liberal media/politicians, open borders, and some other things like criminal level taxes made me uncomfortable supporting the left going forward.

Also, the whole Biden/Kamala thing was such an embarrassment. Get your **** together. And stop letting violent repeat offenders out of prison to kill innocent people.

Wait until you find out how capital gains are taxed compared to income.

He's the exactly the type of person that divisive politics works on. Get them to focus on **** that really doesn't matter when they lose sight of the fact that they are getting ****ed over.

I have good friend who is like that. He's a really smart attorney. He got so wrapped up around the axle of free speech and Biden trying to curb misinformation on facebook and X that he voted for Trump who will shut you down for saying something he doesn't like at all. He also goes nuts around gender identity even though they have no effect on his life.

30 percent of all women get sexually assaulted but somehow the bathroom a transgender uses changes everything for them.

The reduction of the capital gains tax that GW implemented probably has more to do with income equality than anything else.

Yeah I don’t really care about transgender issues. I am neutral there.

I do hate the pronoun stupidity

I am definitely not onboard for everything the Ds do.

The Ds get completely schooled by the Rs is messaging. It appears that you have bought into some of the Rs messaging. ANTIFA only exists in the Rs imagination.

The next gen Ds like Talarico, Mamdani and Platner appear to be much better at messaging, so there is some hope that they will be able to turn that around.

No. I walked away from the left because I wasn’t getting played. I believe those that stayed were played and are still. Also, I’m not a Trumpian. I definitely prefer him to what’s on the left but I am not a Trump follower.

I agree about equal opportunity, but I probably think a little differently about how we get there. I also think that we can afford a floor for our citizens especially for the young.

Why do I think we should have universal healthcare? I think we should because it allows more people to take the risk of starting their own companies. The type of health insurance you get shouldn't be dependent how well you can negotiate with the insurance companies. Healthcare is something everyone needs so we might as well socialize it to make it more efficient.

Healthcare is a JOKE, my company used to pay for ours (employee only) but finally they had to stop due to costs. The Health Care Lobby is so strong

The United States has the most expensive healthcare in the world, spending nearly double per capita compared to other wealthy nations. Healthcare costs are driven higher by a combination of unregulated medical pricing, administrative complexity, and expensive medical technologies. [1, 2, 3]
The top countries for highest healthcare costs per capita include:
    • United States: ~$14,885 per person
    • Switzerland: ~$9,963 per person
    • Germany: ~$9,365 per person
    • Netherlands: ~$8,436 per person
    • Austria: ~$8,401 per person

    The modern left…..

Hypocritical commies who lack any critical thinking common sense.

They think you can run a nation state like a kindergarten classroom.

    Protect democracy means protect DNC.

They claim to be oppressed yet have endless NGO and govt funding.

They place more value on identity than actual skills or merit.

They claim to not be racists yet want special treatment based on race. Which is the definition of racism.

They are commies Who value their extortion rate college certificates more than real world skills or experience.

The HS diploma farmer, electrician and plumber are way more valuable to society than a history or art student. Just because you took a loan and passed a few tests does not make you morally superior. Often it just makes you an arrogant prick with narcissistic tendencies.

Oh! And the suicidal empathy is destroying the West.

    Alright

    Back to work

    So far behind
