I agree about equal opportunity, but I probably think a little differently about how we get there. I also think that we can afford a floor for our citizens especially for the young. Why do I think we should have universal healthcare? I think we should because it allows more people to take the risk of starting their own companies. The type of health insurance you get shouldn't be dependent how well you can negotiate with the insurance companies. Healthcare is something everyone needs so we might as well socialize it to make it more efficient.
