Is this the one where they stopped live play right when OG Anunoby (who had only missed 1 shot all game) was about to shoot a wide open 3? They didn't even add any seconds back on the shot clock when they resumed play so the Knicks had to rush a shot and missed it. Embarrassing performance from the officials.

 

Well, there has got to be some disadvantage of being tall/big, right? Otherwise smaller players would have no chance against the giants.

 

I don’t know how anyone can stand this giant *******. He acts like no one should be allowed to guard him. Don't play defense, guys. Just stand back and be in awe of Wemby’s majesty. If you do try to defend him, he can swing his elbow at your head or throw you to the floor without any real consequence.

To say "there was no windup" when the windup was Castle's obvious acceleration into Brunson for the purpose of knocking him to the ground was just stupid IMO.

This overphysical mess all started when the refs allowed the T-Wolves to bully the Spurs around (until they collapsed and ran out of gas in the 2nd half of game 5). Spurs have copied the script that was used on them and would not have beaten a weakened OKC squad and would be down 0-3 to the Knicks without it.

One could argue it is smart of the Spurs to capitalize since the NBA is allowing it in this year's playoffs.

The vibe was off. The crowd was buzzed out before tip-off, woke up right before halftime, and never got back into the game. No viewing parties. No street action.
Game 4? The hoodlums are back in the building, and I mean that respectfully. Streets gonna be full. A Puerto Rican Spider-Man in Timbs will be doing backflips and drinking Hennessy out the bottle. New York basketball is back.
