No you never said it was your opinion until now lol. You apparently don’t know the meaning of the word consensus. And you’re searching for a response now since this is the second one you posted since last night lol. Whatever man. I no longer have any interest in discussing this with you.

So our GM drafts players with the #3 overall pick based entirely off of how good their 3 point jumpshots look.

Our team loses because we used the #3 overall pick to draft players based entirely off of how good their 3 point jumpshots looked (twice)

And now those are the fan favorites lol. Because their jumpshots look good.

We’re gonna sell off the Allstars and build for the future around the # 3 picks lmao

    It’s gotta be a simulation.

You are a complete joke lol Im not gonna say "this is my opinion" on an opinion forum every time I said my opinion no one here does that and thats a ridiculous expectation and you know that. Thats why youre insisting on it. I never said its a fact because who talks like that? Finally you have no interest because you have been proven wrong and a liar and youre still lying lol

Here is how that draft cycle unfolded:
    • The Consensus: Leading up to draft night, almost all major analysts, mock drafts, and oddsmakers had Smith locked in at No. 1. His elite combination of size (6'10"), defensive versatility, and lethal three-point shooting (42% at Auburn) made him the most NBA-ready prospect.
    • Consensus refers to a general or widespread agreement among a group of people.

Since you’re an idiot and your information can’t be trusted, I had to look it up myself.

    From your yahoo article:
He's not the consensus overall top pick in the draft, but his upside is incredible with his 3-point shooting (averaging 42% from deep) and his footwork in the paint.”

The other “sources” in your response were useless. One was Jj reddick’s opinion. The Auburn article And Jabari’s interview said nothing about him being a consensus choice.

There’s 2 different draft guides. There’s a big board that teams/scouts use to rank players based on talent. Some networks or publications have their own big boards. Mock drafts is about who they think will go where.

There was no consensus top pick in that draft. No player in the top 4 stood out as the most talented or skilled. There was no lebron, flagg, wemby who were all consensus top picks.

First, there is a clear-cut trio of frontcourt prospects atop it. Second, there are debates over which of those players should go first.“

No two boards are alike, and at the top of each of them is almost certainly one of three names: Jabari Smith Jr., Chet Holmgren or Paolo Banchero.”

ven ESPN rankings had Banchero at 1

All this discussion about consensus pick
Is stupid anyway. Who cares? He wasn’t drafted first. A few media guys believed he would be in their mock drafts but this doesn’t change your argument or makes it somehow more valid or factual. Shut up dude. Fact is you saw my response as a challenge when it was a discussion. You got worked up talked shi+ wasted time going back and forth instead of discussing the topic. And you don’t read shi+ Go work on your reading skills before you speak to me.
