Bass is awful on everything, but hey.... She isn't a republican trying to clean the streets from drugs and human $hit so its a big W I guess..... Wake up and see what's happening, Pratt couldn't have been worse than the outrages mismanagement of the current and future mayor..... Its comical but well deserved for the people of L.A.

in 2025 homicides fell 19% reaching the lowest number of homicides since 1966. Shooting victims as a whole was down double digits. Homelessness has been down consecutively for the previous two years. The streets are not infested with drugs everywhere and crime isnt out of control. Your narrative of LA is shaped by right wing media which has brainwashed you. Bass has been terrible on housing policy and affordability but this isnt an issue Pratt had any ideas for which is why his campaign never picked up steam with regular liberals.

Im sorry that you've been brainwashed by right wing social media but your narrative of LA isnt based in reality .

I don't who know argued that? Not sure what you're saying here.

I'm dead serious when I say this, I've never met a person in my life, in person or online who cares about trans and gay people like you do. The word "trans" has simply never been brought before me more frequently by any other person than by reading specifically your post on this website. Dead.Ass.

I don't, nor have I ever frequently talked about those subjects with anybody, not my wife, parents, friends, coworkers, kids, nothing. Between my wife and I, we have a few gay cousins, there's one trans cousin on my wifes side that I've never met, these people exist, the aren't subjects for us, I want the best for them like anybody else.

Maybe I've just experience a super irregular life, but I've never been forced to be educated on gay/trans rights, it's never been a problem for me that's f*cked up my day or anything. I'm concerned about my kids living a good life and things going well for my family/friends and in general people throughout the world. I genuinely don't know what the f*ck your talking about by contrasting gay/trans/reparations with what you think are essentials for life as if that's the political conundrum of this country... Like, maybe it is for you? I'm just not there with you and it's pretty confusing.

I think you are confusing yourself tbh..... I use gay and trans rights as an example of something that is generally unimportant but heavily used as a moral compass by Democrat politicians. I have never stated that this issue or topic is my biggest concern.

With that said you indeed are proving my point, Democrat's run on issues and problems you nor I see on a day to day basis. They cater to some insanely small communities about issues that are insignificant and waste resources on said issues. They sell a high moral and understanding ground without even living near those social issues. That's why I'm so opposed to Democrats, they aren't pulling towards the center but further left to the point where they don't even resemble what Democrats were in the first place.

Here we have a prime example of a Democrat mayor running on social issues who is scared to offend people, welp.... Scared is probably not the right word. Here we have Democrat mayor that does not give a f*ck about drug addiction but solely ran on a platform that is social acceptance and political correctness. Look, the city may smell like $hit but atleast they aren't offending anyone.

Yah, Bass is doing such a stand up job that a candidate with an R actually made it to the runoff in what could be considered the bluest city in America...... Its nasty was happened in L.A, its their own fault. They no longer have freedom to chose, they will pick from a list of Democrats that will pick up the torch of the previous Democrat for their entire lifetime and their children's lifetime.

due to his lack of seriousness / willful stupidity

Lots of LA voters (Dems & Rep) vote strategically, they take their time and mail in their ballots.
in this election, lots of GOP voters, who had witnessed Pratt (several times) comparing himself to Obama,
opted not to vote for him.

there is no rigging. this fact warrants repeating

California's policy allowing mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day to be received and counted up to
days afterward stems from legislation signed by then-Republican Governor Pete Wilson in 1998.

Under this law, ballots arriving after Election Day are included in the official tally as long as they are postmarked on or
before Election Day and arrive within the statutory certification window.

you need to stop repeating convenient lie propagated by out-of-towners envious of the success of LA /Calif.

at some point, you need to come to LA's skid row and see for your self.

streets, on LA's skid row, are cleaned at least once daily,
but not every minute on the minute, like a Hilton hotel.

not even in Singapore, the world's cleanest city, are streets cleaned every minute on the minute !

this convenient evidence-free claim propagated by elon, on last Thurs, has been debunked.

DOJ debunks social media claim of discrepancy in LA mayor vote count

“There was a claim circulating on social media about an election night ballot update at the Los Angeles Registrar of Voters
where one candidate received zero votes,” DOJ wrote
“We reviewed official county records. The claim is false. Each candidate received votes in every update.”

So like all of the mail in votes were for one person and the voters signed their names with a smiley face
43K is also the number of homeless people in LA
Homeless + illegals + no voter id mail in ballots
    = election fraud

I wouldn’t say I’m that confused, you’ve been talking about it for years dog.

    What are you talking about?

You brought up the issue multiple times as your lead example, I’m stressing to you that it’s completely irrelevant for me, and you are turning around and saying I’m proving your point?

    That’s… almost madness

It seems like your are deeply wrapped in the culture wars, it’s just hasn’t been relevant, a concern or an interesting topic for me. The over inflation of importance on these culture war topics just seems like a tool for political division.

I really don’t know follow LA mayoral politics, like I said from the start you guys seem oddly invested in it to be following it enough to have such strong opinions.

I just looked up Bass’s political platform, it does not match up to your description at all.

Astro might have a point by saying you have distorted perceptions of things given whatever your political news sources are, like I said earlier, the product of living in modern political bubbles.

None of these people on the thread lives in LA or has ever been within 3000 miles of America
    Breh @TheRealist137
They’ve only heard of Compton cause I posted a video about NWA
    @pgabriel
the Nick Shirley video shows that a person who was registered as eligible to vote didn’t exit and was supposed to 126 years old. They went to the address.
If I had access to a database of eligible voters and I put Bol Bol in there , they would think Bol Bol lives in Los Angeles
