Mail in voting once again lol... I wonder by how much Trump really beat Kamala by.... It must have been absolutely massive in order for the mail in corruption not to have affected the results....

It's so funny how MAGATS sincerely don't realize how unpopular their cult leader is. He has the lowest approval rating of any modern president and his approval rating with Latinos is 22%. The fact y'all thought he Pratt had a chance in a +55 D city shows sincerely how delusional y'all are

Why did you guys even mentally invest in the LA mayoral race? Just lined up to get your cheeks absolutely thunder clapped by the blue haired trans poc woke queer illegals for no reason?

    That's tuff.

Not sure I care enough for "invested" to be the right word..

I don't think Pratt ever had a chance to win, however rigging this election does make one wonder how the people of L.A are really voting. At some point they were going to get tired of stepping on human $hit but voting blue no matter who is how they will enjoy a lifetime of crack heads and homelessness.

At some point you gotta wonder if voting for ideology and political correctness is worth it over voting for common sense...

One's political ideology is almost always based on what one would view as being "common sense", I'd argue. What common sense is probably differs greatly from person to person, community to community, country to country, etc, I'd imagine.

Don't follow LA politics enough to know if people are voting for "political correctness" and whatever you think that means in 2026, so can't really comment on that.

Shouldn't a politicians main role be improving the quality of life in his or her specific area? How can a county, a city, a state or a country improve when the focus isn't making that area better? Common sense to me is who will clean the streets, lower taxes, enforce security and produce income. Those things improve quality of life.

But you're okay with Trump kicking off 20 million off healthcare, doubling Healthcare premiums for another 25 million Americans, kicking millions off food assistance, cutting Pell grants for trade schools but got a extra 500 billion for the military industrial complex?

Everything is Trump with you, we are talking about what to look for when voting..... We should be electing politicians who are trying to move forward said areas not moving forward agendas and ideology's. Pratt in this case made sense for L.A., it was common sense.

for the education of the willful ignrananus,

California's policy allowing mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day to be received and counted up to
days afterward stems from legislation signed by Republican Governor Pete Wilson in 1998.

Under this law, ballots arriving after Election Day are included in the official tally as long as they are postmarked on or
before Election Day and arrive within the statutory certification window.

Pratt blew through 10 million dollars by blowing it on luxury travel, 5 star hotels, and eating at 5 star cuisines but now suddenly will save Los Angeles. He's done nothing successful in the business world worth while. Suddenly he's going to save Los Angeles lmao give me a ****ing break. He's a grifter who is bought and paid for.

Bass has been awful on alot of topics but Pratt isn't the solution. He's accomplished literally nothing

LA voters, like most Calif voters, vote strategically.

the con man's action/non-sensical post/comment/mems point to his lack of seriousness / intellectual curiosity.
he actions suggest that he think he is in another reality TV who.

the MAGA crowd has already voted for him, the remaining republicans voters are not voting for him

The way you seemingly process things through a purely partisan framework is kind of stunning man. I think this is the effect of developing/living in the modern online political bubbles.

Do you really think the other candidates in that race aren’t running on proclaims of improving quality of life for their constituents?

Right that’s your claim of common sense, mind could be different, OR the same, but potentially with incredibly different views on what policies to enact to produce the idealized “common sense” outcomes.

As an example, One may think enforcing security is putting more money into surveillance and enacting harsher punishment, and another may think the money is better suited in reducing poverty or to improve education conditions as more effective pathways to reduce crime and achieve greater safety/security.

Or one could flat out have a differ in sense, say on tax cuts, believing that they make things worse off for the average man.

See, this is where conservatives and Democrats start to part ways. Of course to some the most important things are gay rights, trans surgeries and massive immigration..... To some it will be education, infrastructure and freedom of religion.... To some it will be equal rights, reparations for African Americans and discrimination laws. The lists go on and on. But because people have an endless amount of priorities and beliefs it does not mean we automatically applaud them and tell them they are brave and not stupid.......

Take any 3rd world country in the world, and tell them you have brought them education on gay rights and trans surgeries. They will likely laugh it off and ask how the f*ck they are going to eat with that bs...... Take any 3rd world country and add clean streets, lower taxes, security and income. Now you have a universal improvement of life. All that other $hit comes later when people are rich and privileged enough to care about dumb $hit like gay rights and reparations.

There are essentials that we as humans need to live better lives, that's what I mean by common sense.
