Pretty sure their comment is referencing the ball bouncing off Castle's back and costing the Spurs the game tonight, though it's not fair to put the blame on him. Definitely should have your eyes on the ball when you're the closest outlet for your 7'5" teammate who is trying to advance the ball, but at the end of the day it's on Wemby for throwing it.

I don't know of any GM that would pick Reed over Castle at this point.....Not even Stone

I'm curious, how do you know that? Do you have insiders on every team? Are you secretly a GM?

so if Rockets got Castle we still got bumped in the first round?

and if Spurs got Reed they still in the finals with Reed starting and shutting down the opposing teams' best backcourt scorer?

No, just basketball IQ. Ask yourself, as physical as this series is, how effective would Reed be if he were playing? Could he even bring the ball up the court? Could he get his shot off?

    No, No and No!

Do you think Reed is in his final form? Like he's peaked already? No chance to improve? I think Reed's ceiling blows away Castle's. This series isn't physical AT ALL for castle, they don't guard him on the perimeter. He could take 20 open shots if he wanted to.

If you think this series isn’t physical, then you’re not wary. The refs are letting them play my friend.

Not what i said, i said it's not physical FOR CASTLE on offense, because they don't guard him. He's a very physical defender.

12/30 FG, 3/9 3PT, 4/6 FT, 12 REB, 7 AST, 0 BLK, 1 STL, 7 PF, 6 TO, 31 PTS over two games in the finals... I think Rockets fans would be disappointed to say the least. Watching him play, there's been boneheaded moments. He's scoring, playing pretty good defense at times, but the ball movement makes his defense meaningless. The Knicks are making everything they do well, meaningless. Especially Castle.

To be clear, I wanted Castle over Reed and probably Clingan over both, but it's looking like Reed has an easier chance now to look like the best pick of the three that we had a chance at drafting. I'm imagining Reed playing in this Final Series, thinking he'd be a shot maker and the dude competes without much fear. That's what you want at the highest level, fearlessness.

I was against the majority when draft discussions were being had when Reed was drafted, I wanted the other two, but ya'll who were pro-Reed, those that said it was the one we should go with, I'm coming around now. I don't like what I've seen out of Castle in the Finals. Dude should be confidently acting like the champion he is and he's playing like a rookie out there so far. There's still time for the Spurs, Wemby, Castle, etc but so far I'm not impressed by anyone on the Spurs in this Finals minus Dylan Harper. That dude's for real. We had no chance at him so no shade thrown at Stone on that one.

There are players I wish we still had, but we still have a solid core if we stick with it. The Knicks are playing like a college team in the Big Dance and we've got a close composition to that. Please stay the course, Rox... and KD... start liking your teammates. Start trusting your teammates. This is the way.

I disagree. This is a very physical series. I don't think Reed is going to get any taller nor do I think he's going to get any bigger, I think it will effect his quickness.

Castle is big enough where he can switch, he can get to the basket and his outside shot is improving.

Backing your guy can have the opposite effect psychologically.

Anytime a Reed fan acts like Castle isn’t good. The majority takeaway is Reed fans don’t know ball.

People that use to think Reed was going to be a really good player with some years in the weight room.

Now are worried, that there’s something synonymous and sinister connecting Reed fans to not knowing ball.

I get the intent but it’s okay to acknowledge these things.
