Imagine all the people involved getting paid good or even great salaries for this….afraid to commit to anything, kind of on brand, actually committed to stupidity: Ime’s stubborn offense to this.
The one bit I really don't like is the wonky stripes. Outside of that I kinda like the overall look, though the texture or whatever it is on the black one makes that look really cheap like a bad knock off, and the cut on that is awful. I may buy the red one, they all have a weird shape/cut to them I'm not sure looks that nice to wear
Rockets are hiring a creative design manager if anyone wants to get their foot in the door for the next rebrand after we b**** n moan about these for years
I like the new jerseys and think the pinstripes aren't a bad touch. It’s the logo that needs to go back to the old school one. The space patch is corny and dunkstronaut is goofy. Keep it simple.
I like them. I also like the great fashion debates that broke out around here. People take this stuff really seriously. The Astros remain the Houston franchise with the best uniforms and history, but I think the Rockets did fine and the yellow accents on the Rockets R make sense.
I think all the buildup was stupid, but I actually really like the new unis. They look a lot closer to the unis I grew up watching and that's a good thing. I don't like the pinstripes, but you can barely see them so who cares. From far away, they look like the championship unis. Can't wait for next season so I can at least feel like I'm watching the HOUSTON ROCKETS again. Now...can we not be one of those teams that wears our road unis at home and visa versa? Be like the Knicks and just wear the home whites at home for cryin' out loud.
Best ones we’ve had that honoured the past. Also you guys seen all the clutch fansshop merchandise?! Laughably ghastly. This really feels like a new remix take with all these different logo and jersey elements of the past incorporated. Red one should’ve been the only one as the city jersey. Kept the original dunkstronaut logo and court. That would’ve been aces. BTW we still look too much or even closer to the Hawks with these. Desperately need a rebrand and not just whatever this is. That street sign McDonald’s / Shell logo will be mocked for years.
Eh colors are fine. But why stick with the R logo? Just go back to the 70s/90s logo and modernize it a little.
I see call backs to the championship era uni, but do the current Rockets players deserve it? Should mediocrity be rewarded, doesn't feel the current roster have earn that privilege.
Whoever decided that the uniforms needed the pinstripes and the stripes on the shorts needs to be strapped to a Rocket and fired into the sun. The merch all looks terrible too. Yellow, red, black and white? I hope nobody buys anything and the team is forced to rebrand again as soon as they can.
The black just makes it look like German national sports team gear to me. I really dislike the black Jersey too the more I look at it. Should've just stuck to ketchup/mustard/white as the colourway.
They’re better but I’m so tired of that R logo. They had free rein to create something and fumbled it. Should have scrapped the R and put dunkstronaught on the shorts
When the logo had a circular shape, it's a basketball. Not sure what this traingle is supposed to be. R is for regarded.
