I haven't seen it I just enjoy the narrative of having a interesting idea and seeing it through to fame and fortune.

These two movies and Iron Lung are going to spur a huge wave of YouTube creator to big screen/Television content. The key thing to understand about these successes isn’t that they made a lot of money, it’s that younger generations are showing up much more for these movies. For Backrooms, Gen Z had a 44% attendance rate, where it was 25% for Mandalorian. That’s a 57% difference. That’s huge. I think something like 75% of the audience for Backrooms was under 35. Mind blowing.

The formula is easy: look for well fleshed out YouTube channels with millions of viewers and pay the creators to make big screen versions. Automatic built-in audience and millions of test screens. Probably the best thing to happen to Hollywood in a long, long time.

If you b**** about endless reboots and sequels, this is for you. That is, if you can wrap your head around things that younger generations enjoy.
